Every time I see the towns name "Sarnia, Ont", I think of the messages that said "Severnaya assembly goes well" from message #3450.

This is in connection with the chemical spill in the drinking water source.

Those Flash movie files are actually dated January 16, 2003, so they are in no way new files.

I decided to check out some of the other files and I came across two *.zip files dated November 2003. Opening one of them revealed an image titled "send1.jpg", which hints to me that this image was intended to be sent out to people. I haven't downloaded the 2nd yet.

The image itself is a two frame image, like two pages in an open book with the pages bordered with barbed wire. I do not read Arabic, so perhaps someone here can translate this into something tangible?

When I see the photos of our servicemen, I see faces that I knew in my youth........and I see my sons, nephews and all the loved ones of every mother.

At this time my men are either too young to be there or too old, so I have been protected for this one.Seems that one can't say enough prayers.

I keep looking at sites and links and it scares me, to know that this is what a child finds, if he searches for info on the Internet.

As much as I support freedom, I think that I might support some control of the hate and sex sites.

Court reprimands American teenager for threatening e-mails

DUBAI - The Dubai Juvenile Court on Tuesday reprimanded an American teenager who sent threatening letters to the media committee of Dubai 2003, The Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund, which took place in Dubai from September 18 to 24, in which he warned to assassinate the head of a foreign delegation participating in the event, if he should set foot in the UAE.

The boy, M.R.W., 16, sent his first e-mail to the media committee on September 22 asking about the members of the delegation and who will be heading it. The second e-mail he sent said the head of the delegation would be killed together with all his guards if he did not leave the UAE within 24 hours of the e-mail date and instructed that the delegation flag should be lowered at the venue of the meetings.

The third letter sent by the teenager was sent to CNN and Al Jazeera television as well as the media committee, although the e-mail to Al Jazeera bounced. The subject line read `Al Qaeda', in it he wrote that Al Qaeda takes full responsibility for the assassination of the head of the delegation and his guards.

The court decided to reprimand the boy and get a signed undertaking of good conduct from his parents that he will not do this again. Police were informed of the e-mail on September 22 and they contacted Etisalat who managed to track the source of the e-mail from the time and the IP address.

They traced the message to the house of R.W., a US citizen, living in Sharjah. With the assistance of Sharjah Police, the house was raided.

R.W. was arrested and questioned.

Asked whose computer that was in his home, told police the computer belonged to his 16-year-old son. When M.R.W. was questioned he admitted to sending the e-mails as an expression of his rejection of the delegation's participation in the WB and IMF annual meetings.

He said he did not have any personal problems with the targeted head of delegation and added that the e-mail he sent to CNN was meant to frighten the public, which he said the news media could do.
