If they appeal to the Californians screwed by Davis or Illinoisians screwed by Blagozovich, they might have something.

Broke a tooth in 2001. Cat had kittens. Had a flat tire. My ballclub is short a left-handed reliever and a couple of bats and I have the sex life of a 90-year-old Tibetan monk. Dang that Bush, anyways.

Dying laughing!

Hey, if you give that monk back his sex life, maybe things will improve!

In just a few days, Bush will give his State of the Union address, where he'll distort his record to paint the best picture he can for his reelection campaign.

But we know the real story.

Reading this crap is starting to become physically painful.

I lost my job because of cheap foreign labor. I couldn't afford any new clothes or shoes because my wife's prescription drugs were no longer covered, since my health insurance had been through my employer. After months of scraping by on unemployment, the soles of my good "job hunting" shoes had worn out and each shoe had several holes in it. Here I was, the typical American worker, walking down the street trying hard to hide my tears. I cried because I had no shoes.

Then, I nearly tripped over a homeless man. I looked down and saw that had no feet. So I took his shoes. Now everything's OK, but President Bush didn't help me any, so noogies to him.

Although, I might just send in the short version...

That's great. The only thing I see that might need to be changed is the hole in the ground phrase. You might think about changing that to "I had to live in a one room place smaller than the average bathroom." Or something like that.

But then again, I'm a professional critic. (Well, if somebody would pay me to do this, I'd be a professional.)

If they're going to share the stories "anonomously", why not just make them up. Oh wait, they WILL just make them up.

Tell us your story about how your family, your neighbors, and your community have felt the sting of Bush's policies.

Dear DNC Brother,

Thank you so much for requesting my input. I haven't been asked to give that for a while, so I welcome the opportunity.

Things have been so terrible since the last election and I am very upset. All my neighbors are upset, too. It has just been hellish around here lately, realising our votes were not enough to elect Al Gore, so we crave the upcoming opportunity to vote Bush out of office in 2004.

I have always been a Democrat. I have voted the straight Democratic ticket for the past eighty-eight years without a break or a hitch, and I intend to vote Democrat as long as I am able. I even have several of my neighbors who have voted the straight Democrat ticket for well over 120 years, so we feel there is still hope for our team. Keep up the good work and we will continue to pull the lever for you - as long as you can continue to supply the "proper" pollwatchers and ward-heelers!

Please don't let us down!

Sincerely,

Richard S. Daley (Sr.)
Chicago, Ill.

The DNC version of "Queen For A Day."

Oh my washer/dryer broke down right before my daughter's wedding to her fiance' who was injured in a car wreck with my husband who had lost his job and they were delivering papers just to make ends meet and the old car's engine just fell right out and they rammed into a busload of minority schoolkids on a field trip and we are being sued and our house has a lien attached to it by the exterminator company that fund termites had eaten away the entire foundation and we found out about that when the visiting school teacher came to inquire about the children missing so much school and fell through the porch and since then the kids have all come down with the black lung disease from working two shifts in the coal mines after lying about their age cause we needed groceries on the table and of course it ain't covered by our health care even if we had been able to keep up the payments on that and the cable TV which was just took out.

Here is my ACTUAL LETTER I sent to them...

To Whom It May Concern,
Since GWBush became President, I got a new job at my company.

With the reduction in tax rates, I was able to get a new car. I traded in my old '94 Bonnieville and got a leased 2002 GMC Envoy. It's a great SUV.

My wife works in a doctor's office and is still able to work part time to bring in enough money to pay all the taxes the Democrats have levied to pay for social programs. Seems there are millions (it seems) of insured Moms, Dads and kids out here in America.

We've been paying extra to send our 16 year old daughter to Private Catholic High School because the schools around here are filled with illegal aliens from Mexico and other Latin American countries. Our town is inundated with illegals right now, they don't speak English at all and all the stores are bilingual right now. It's OK though since my daughter is taking Spanish in High School so we can still shop and buy things, she learns a great deal of converstational lingo!

I really don't know anyone who has been laid off around here, but our company had several hundred people retire in December because our company stock is doing so well. We have so many applicants for those open jobs so I expect the unemployment numbers will keep going down.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL, hope you select a good Presidential Candidate this year!

By the way, EVERY SINGLE THING IN THIS EMAIL IS TOTALLY 100% TRUE. I kid you not!

GRRRRR
