What an artrogant little sack of sh!t. He thinks I need an 'education'? I think he needs a woodshedding.
To: Cyropaedia
Note the Boston Globe also blandly calls all republicans racists. I'm sick and tired of being insulted and discriminated against by the left and the RAT lapdog media just because I'm white.
To: concerned about politics
"Not because white people are worse than black people about race but because whites are in the majority, and therefore the behavior of whites has a much bigger influence on hiring practices and so forth and so on than the behavior of African-Americans." I'm white but I'm not offended because I think a lot of blacks do feel this way ---- they aren't necessarily bothered by someone's individual attitudes but sometimes those attitudes can get in the way of them getting a good job.

This must be Dean's new Southern strategy.

Personally, I wish Dean would slow down with all the dumb statements. I wouldn't want him to overexert himself before he has a chance to say some of these things in front of a really big audience, say, in a nationally televised debate against Bush. I wouldn't worry about Dean running out of dumb things to say. In the wise words of Albert Einstein - "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."

The funny thing about dean is that he does not know how stupid his brainlesss statements sound.
I don't want him to stop talking, he makes such a good target.
Boy what a fruit loop he is turning out to be.

Actually, it looks like us white folks need to explain ourselves to Dean, as well. But I guess that because he's better than any of us, black or white, it would be a waste of time and energy. After all, Dean clearly knows best. He knows how ignorant white folks are and how dependent black folks are, and he's here to "teach" us all.
What a pompous, bigoted, bloviating jerk he is.

I agree. Dean is getting desperate. Those testicles must be getting gangrenous in Hill's lockbox.

a little early for the race card governor...
why?

The funny thing about dean is that he does not know how stupid his brainlesss statements sound. Are you sure they sound that brainless to the audience that he was speaking to? It doesn't look like he's saying more taxpayer money needs to be thrown at the problem, or lowering of standards is needed or some kine of quotas. It'd be interesting to know what he meant by "education".

I don't doubt it, and I meant no insult to you or to blacks in general. Since two thirds of black Americans are middle class, it would be inappropriate to apply such a label to all blacks. But a comparison of black America in the 50's, before the advent of Great Society liberalism, and today shows a very clear trend in the wrong direction.
Dean's irresponsible comments are just throwing gasoline on the fire. White Americans are fed up with being blamed for the failure of the black underclass, and we aren't going to put up with it any more.
To: livius
Maybe all the ignorant white people and dumb black people will not vote for him due to their disability.

and even liberals who are not dependent. I find it difficult to believe that there exists a liberal that is not dependent on some sort of patronage or inherited wealth.

The sad truth is that we have a segment of society, any and all colors, or white, who perhaps through no fault of their own, no parenting, bad parenting, whatever, are non productive members of society, who are prone to violence, alcohol and any other drug abuse and who will not change. They'll go to their graves having impacted everyone horrendously. People need examples of sensible, productive living, and kids need structure and to be taught that actions have consequences. Secular humanism, PC culture, multicultural claptrap, all have cost not only trillions of mispent dollars, but human lives. Evil does exist, however, and you can find people brought up with every advantage, who turn out to be sociopaths or worse. Yes, the Clintons come to mind.

What the hell can Howard the Duck do to educate me about race?
I live in Michigan which has a large black population. He's from Vermont, one of the whitest states in the country.

Dean is a Divider and this is a classic example. You would expect a true statesman to talk about the need for all races to find common ground with each other and move forward together. Now compare that with Dean: "Dealing with race is about educating white folks." Do you see how an inept politician can make a difficult, thorny issue even worse through tactics of division? To fault one race for race relations is a non-starter. This guy is very dangerous, in a lot of ways.
