Pat Robertson said Friday that God told him President Bush will be re-elected in a landslide.
"I think George Bush is going to win in a walk," the religious broadcaster said on his "700 Club" program on the Virginia Beach-based Christian Broadcasting Network, which he founded.

I strongly agree.
I admire him and respect him.
But sometimes, I think he needs to turn up his discerner, or his wisdom or something--perhaps just keep his trap shut more.

Im not a Pat Robertson defender, but the title is a little misleading.
He said
I think George Bush is going to win in a walk," the religious broadcaster said
and "I really believe I'm hearing from the Lord it's going to be like a blowout election in 2004. It's shaping up that way," Robertson said.
Thats not exactly the same as God told me.

There was some Indian kid in florida who was demonstrated to have psychic abilities. By whom? If he "demonstrates" it to The Amazing Randi,he can be a million bucks richer.
And his 50/50 shot at picking Bush was certainly no proof.

"Pat Robertson said Friday that God told him President Bush will be re-elected in a landslide.
Did the hand of god visit destruction on Orlando yet?
"
Well, several churches got damaged in storms after Robertson's ill-advised nonsense.

Where's the quote about God telling him this? The only sentence quoted is shown above...looks to me to be his opinion. I have never, ever heard Pat Robertson say that God specifically told him anything. So where's the rest of the quote?

If Pat Robertson is thrown upon a dunghill when he dies, we'll know that he's a prophet!

Other people with those predicitng gifts disagree with the good Reverand... Reckon they'll blow a gasket when President Bush raises his right hand at the inauguration in '05 and says 'I Do' ......

"I think George Bush is going to win..."Not a prophet. Prophets don't just think God speaks through them, they know.

Did the hand of god visit destruction on Orlando yet? Hurricane Isabel roared through Virginia Beach, Va., in September, inflicting serious property damage despite public calls for prayer to keep it away by local resident Pat Robertson, whose Christian Broadcasting Network is headquartered there.
(In 1998, Robertson condemned the city of Orlando, Fla., for sponsoring the Gay Days festival, and warned the city that God could tear it up during hurricane season for promoting homosexuality. Instead, the first hurricane to make landfall in 1998, Bonnie, scored a direct hit on Virginia Beach.) [The Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk), September 16]

Ok...here it is.
I really believe I'm hearing from the Lord it's going to be like a blowout election in 2004. It's shaping up that way," Robertson said.

It would do more good to ask God to send a huge package of
WISDOM
to the left in the country, especially "The Hildebeast", "Bawa" and company, etc.

To: Quix
Would you consider, perhaps, sending a huge package of WISDOM along with your next message to Pat Robertson? Perhaps with a cool, refreshing glass of shut the hell up.
