Gadhafi: North Korea and Iran Should Follow My Lead<!!--titleend--> <!!--subtitlestart--><!!--subtitleend-->
<!!--bodystart-->
In an interview with CNN on Monday, Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, who recently announced that he would end his weapons of mass destruction (WMD) programs, advised North Korea, Iran, and Syria to give up their WMD programs as well. Gadhafi said that by following in his footsteps, those nations can escape from their current difficulties.

During the interview, held on the outskirts of the Libyan capital of Tripoli, Gadhafi offered his advice while expressing hope that the United States and Great Britain would discontinue the economic sanctions placed on his nation. He acknowledged that his nation did have WMD programs, but he did not confirm whether Libya actually possessed the weapons themselves.

On December 19, Gadhafi announced that he would give up his WMD programs and accept unconditional international inspections. <!!--bodyend-->

If true, the domino effect is happening as we speak! Absolutely historic, if true! The million ton dominos are hanging over the vile Arafat's ugly head.

He should know. Likely he just jumped out of bed with both of them. Why should he pass up a possible opportunity for a shopping spree in NY?

Thanks to the steadfast courage of G.W. Bush, Kaddafi came to realize that his path was leading only to his demise... now where else.

That's the truth. And he would have fallen a lot easier and faster than Saddam Hussein did.

" ... and Syria "

He alleges that Syria has WMD program(s). And what would they be? I honestly can't recall hearing about this.

WASHINGTON, Oct 28, 2003 — The director of a top American spy agency said Tuesday that he believed that material from Iraq's illicit weapons program had been transported into Syria and perhaps other countries as part of an effort by the Iraqis to disperse and destroy evidence immediately before the recent war.

The official, James R. Clapper Jr., a retired lieutenant general, said satellite imagery showing a heavy flow of traffic from Iraq into Syria, just before the American invasion in March, led him to believe that illicit weapons material "unquestionably" had been moved out of Iraq.

Iraqis Removed Arms Material, U.S. Aide Says

Aug 25, 2003 - U.S. intelligence suspects Iraq's weapons of mass destruction have finally been located.

Unfortunately, getting to them will be nearly impossible for the United States and its allies, because the containers with the strategic materials are not in Iraq.

Instead they are located in Lebanon's heavily-fortified Bekaa Valley, swarming with Iranian and Syrian forces, and Hizbullah and ex-Iraqi agents, Geostrategy-Direct.com will report in tomorrow's new weekly edition.

U.S. intelligence first identified a stream of tractor-trailer trucks moving from Iraq to Syria to Lebaon in January 2003. The significance of this sighting did not register on the CIA at the time.

Report: U.S suspects Iraqi WMD in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley

Suspicions confirmed by State:

Before I address the specifics of Syria’s WMD programs, let me first discuss press reports that Iraq covertly transferred weapons of mass destruction to Syria in an attempt to hide them from UN inspectors and Coalition forces. We have seen these reports, reviewed them carefully, and see them as cause for concern. Thus far, we have been unable to confirm that such transfers occurred. We are continuing with the full breadth of resources at our command to seek conclusive evidence that any such transfer has taken place. We have raised with the Syrians on numerous occasions, even before military action against Iraq, the seriousness with which we would view any transfer of Iraqi dual-use or military related items into Syria.

< snip > More on Syria's own WMD program:

Since the 1970s Syria has pursued what is now one of the most advanced Arab state chemical weapons (CW) capabilities. It has a stockpile of the nerve agent sarin that can be delivered by aircraft or ballistic missiles, and has engaged in the research and development of more toxic and persistent nerve agents such as VX.

< snip >

We believe that Syria is continuing to develop an offensive biological weapons capability. < snip >

Syria has a combined total of several hundred Scud and SS-21 SRBMs, and is believed to have chemical warheads available for a portion of its Scud missile force. Syria has also developed a longer-range missile -- the Scud D -- with assistance from North Korea.

The Axis of Evil

I wonder if Egypt and Saudi Arabia have been implicated as well.

He was wise enough to surrender.

He is fortunate to be alive.

Only if he looked like that pineapple faced thug, Noriega...

Another dethroned tough guy,
That believed the U.S.A. wouldn't come after him.

Whatever happened to that FOOL?

Well, Mr. Noriega is enjoying the hospitality of our Federal Prison System, where he will remain for the rest of his life after being convicted of massive drug charges.

On the personal front, Noriega has become a born-again Christian and has admitted his sins and asked for forgiveness. The Lord works in mysterious ways - often the mighty have to be laid low for them to see what is truly important on this earth.
