My son who lives in another state woke us up at 5:00am to tell us the great news! We missed the first part of the Bremer speech but got the rest from Gen. Sanchez!! WE WERE DELIGHTED!! MERRY CHRISTMAS USA and IRAQ, hope you like your early GIFT!

yes, consider this: what if Saddam tells us he sent the WMD to Syria?

Truckin', like the do-dah man. Once told me "You've got to play your hand"
Sometimes your cards ain't worth a dime, if you don't lay'em down,
Sometimes the light's all shinin' on me;
Other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurres to me What a long, strange trip it's been.
>>>
Sittin' and starin' out of the hotel window.
Got a tip they're gonna kick the door in again
I'd like to get some sleep before I travel,
But if you got a warrant, I guess you're gonna come in.
Busted, down on Bourbon Street, Set up, like a bowlin' pin.
Knocked down, it get's to wearin' thin. They just won't let you be, oh no.
You're sick of hangin' around and you'd like to travel;
Get tired of travelin' and you want to settle down.
I guess they can't revoke your soul for tryin',
Get out of the door and light out and look all around.
Sometimes the light's all shinin' on me;
Other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurres to me What a long, strange trip it's been.

No such thing as an EU. It's a fantasy not proven or supported by reality or fact. Much like a unicorn.
I say we kill him and then let the "Global Prosecutor" take us to "World Court"!

Well, maybe U.S. Forces have known for a week where Saddam was, or had a pretty good idea.
How long will it be before the RATS start demanding that Saddam be turned over to the UN? Any bets?

This is great news. Thank God, and God bless our troops.
To: mabelkitty
Saddamn just ought to consider himself darn lucky that we found his before some of his fellow Iraqis did.
To: longfellow
Yes the War Slut is on bemoaning the rest of the quagmire.
To: snopercod
Oh, almost immediately they will want the UN involved. However, since the UN LEFT IRAQ I don't think they can request that with any degree of credibility.
To: Leroy S. Mort
I bet there will be some people who could be impartial..... impartial until they say, Guilty!

...the left wing press is having a fit.I had to shut off the lie box (TV) after seeing the ABC people get supercharged at the idea that the resistance will now increase like crazy. They beleive that with Saddam no longer associated with the anti-American forces, Iraqis will join in massive numbers. Apparently they all want to fight Bush, but didn't join before because they didn't want to be associated with Saddam. ABC people were getting ecstatic at the prospect. Add to all this the only footage of celbrating I saw was of a crowd of communist Iraqis with red banners and the old flag of the Soviet Union...that was either ABC or NBC, I don't remember. TV really sux. Back to FR!
