ABC's military "expert" (a Army Mag. Gen.) said at 7:10AM EST before the official announcement of Saddam's capture that his arrest had (paraphrase) "no tactical or strategic value."
The downplaying of this immensely significant event has already begun in earnest.

I feel like a kid on Christmas morning LOL, I woke up my hub to tell him and he said cool and went back to sleep : ))
I woke up about 630 and said let me get up before everyone, I turned on FOX before FR so I got the scoop there first but of course came to FR right after to confirm
What a great day for Americans, Iraq's and the world.

According to Gigantor's FR page, he works for one of the big three networks in NY. Thanks, Gigantor, getting the word to FR so fast.
