Iraqis are happy as well. But Israeli media has been interviewing what Israelis thought about it. The US media will compensate by interviewing the French and Germans.

They're Gonna Put Me in the Movies
They're gonna put me in the movies
They're gonna make a big star out of me
They'll make a film about a man that's sad and lonely
And all I gotta do is act naturally...

Mat, hot, cot and goat... Hold the goat, but give him Hitlery, Reno, and Thomas.

Yes. He should have two very visible trials.
First, try him in Iraq for crimes against the Iraqi people.
Second, try him in the USA for complicity in 9-11.
Then, set up a firing squad with six Iraqi's and six US citizens, preferably with family members of those he murdered.
Security is extremely important, to be sure.

I had the joy of bringing the news to some folks at church this morning. It was great to see their reactions.
Now, brace yourself for this doozy; One guy replied, "The one they have to get is Osama."
This is a guy who once told me how all the trees are being cut down and the environment is being polluted, etc.
I replied to him, "One terrorist at a time." To which he said, "Saddam is not a terrorist."
A third, FReeper minded fellow joined the conversation. And the Leftist tripe got short air play.
It was incredible to hear first hand how brainwashed some people are. They're going to have a hell of uphill fight trying to spin this to their advantage.

Congratulations to our troops, President Bush and his staff on jobs well done with regard to this effort. This is a great event for the Iraqi people.

And the execution of Saddam Hussein, after his GUILTY verdict, should be carried out by the Court on the first Saturday or Sunday of next November, November 2004. The trial should start in early July of next year. The testimony of victims of his crimes (relatives of those subject to his crimes) should run throughout all of the summer and in the autumn. These seem like nice times to have these all occur.

we will find out how much the French cheated on the UN embargos. Good point - Germans and Russians too.

"With no hope of SH returning to power will they now try to completley destroy the region?"
That is a question I will not attempt to answer but I suspect that the terrorists, like other bullies, only respect superior strength and it should be obvious to them now that the US is superior and their beloved Saddam was nothing more than a wimp hiding in a hole in the ground when the final showdown came. His sons at least had the courage to die in a hail of bullets but Saddam had none. It is a pity we cannot hand him over to a dozen of the Iraqi women whose sons he killed, imagine all the things they would do to him!

Not only is it true, but its a major slap in the face to arabs and militant islamists worldwide. Now I wonder, will the US coalition still continue the search to find that red-haired dirtbag, the 'izzat' guy, one of his trusted advisors. I hope that we don't stop the search for them until every member of the deck of most wanted are found.
The best part, uday and qusay, are still dead, LOL!!!
