The purpose of this post is to begin providing links, tools, and tactics which we can all use to educate the public, fellow citizens, and neighbors about Hillary Clinton.
It is a work in progress- I have provided a starting point, but want others to chime in with more links, stories, and information.
It is the product of conversations with a number of other members, from which several salient tactical points emerged:
1- keep it as contemporary as possible- the old Whitewater and similar items are stale and dead to the public.
2- keep it civil, please- within the board guidelines, or better. We are trying to convert the mushy middle, and stridency puts them off. Badly.
3- source or reference everything. Authenticity is critical to such an effort.
Here's where it started:

Clinton Says No to Licenses for Illegals
Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute, has an opinion piece over at The Politico that should be a must read for Republican party strategists. Brown confirms what I have been saying for some time now: illegal immigration is the key issue for the 2008 election cycle.
The Washington Post's campaign blog, The Trail, notes that Eliot Spitzer finally dropped his Licenses for Lawbreakers® scheme, but too late. The damage, you see, has already been done. Spitzer, in his drive to try to reach the center of the earth, has managed to top (bottom?) even today's tic tacs tax news!
Yes, he is releasing an onslaught of extremely hard core criminals onto the streets of New York. My gosh, He's about to make Michael Dukakis look presidential!
High fence, wide gate and a hearty welcome for those who play by the rules. It does not matter where you came from, if you play by the rules and want to be an American, you are welcome here. That simple, that powerful, that American.

From those deathless followers of Stalin at The Nation:
Barney Frank: Clinton Best Equipped to Advance Gay Rights
Wed Nov 14
The Nation Both openly-gay members of Congress have now endorsed Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination.
The New York senator secured the support of Tammy Baldwin, the Wisconsin congresswoman who is the only out lesbian in the House, months ago.
Well, we cant say we havent been warned.

Speaking of how absolutely laughable Time Magazine has become, they have also given us this objective and balanced cover story:
'She is a pragmatic moderate about what? There has never been anything moderate about Mrs.Clinton. Having a philosophical appreciation for the articles of Motive magazine, authored by Carl Oglesby( founder of Students for a Democratic Society; SDS), working with and admiring Saul Alinsky, Edelman, Treuhaft, and other famous American patriots and defenders of the American way of life makes Hillary a pragmatic moderate?'
Again one has to ask, will Mr. Kleins contribution in kind be reported to the FEC?
13 Comments » "Hillary is so left wing, she flies in tight little circles."
First she sounded sympathetic to the idea during a televised debate, and within moments had refused to endorse it. Afterwards, she changed her mind and endorsed it. Now today, after Governor Eliot Spitzer shelved a plan to issue New York drivers licenses to illegal aliens, Hillary Clinton shifted her position yet again to oppose the idea entirely:
--It's absurd to think that someone who prepared for this run at the presidency for at least the last seven years couldn't come up with a single answer.
Hillary has been exposed as an empty suit on par with John Edwards and Barack Obama.
UPDATE: Did Hillary pressure Spitzer into ending his plan to take the heat off of her? I'm with Allahpundit on this one; I'm somewhat skeptical that Hillary has that much pull with Spitzer, and Hillary makes a handy enough scapegoat to allow Spitzer off the hook. John Stephenson has a roundup of links.

HILL'S 'STAND?' WELL, TODAY IS THURSDAY.....(strongest waffler in the pack)
David Broder will certainly get a load of emails from the usual suspects after they read today's column. Broder has the unmitigated gall to point out the icebergs ahead for the Democrats and Hillary Clinton in the 2008 elections. Broder is not the first to point out the vulnerability of the Democrats to this issue, of course. 3 responses so far

From, of all places, The Nation: As Hillary Clinton aims to regain momentum in tonights presidential debate, new videos have surfaced on YouTube with young voters asking her questions that are similar to the fake question posed by a Grinnell college student last week. One clip features a young woman wearing a Hillary sticker, who notes she is at her second Clinton event of the day before asking her question. Well, these two latest questions do seem to fit the pattern described by the first planted questioner to surface in her interview with CNN:

The Great Big Hillary Comeback/Democrat Male Pile-On/Wolf Blitzer Moment In The Sun is hours away on CNN. Ill have a full bag of popcorn ready. Join me for liveblogging here at 8pm Eastern. The media-politics hype machine is on overdrive.
Blitzer is manning up:
Oh, and hey, lady: How bout them pardons?
comments (23) "Hillary cannot have it both ways. She wants to lead the big boys
but she wants to play the gender card.
I would like to remind her when she talks about stooping to personal attacks, etc that she and her camp have shown us how it is done, time and time again."
WOLF BLITZER'S BIND: If he doesn't pound on Hillary tonight, it'll look like he's
given in to intimidation. If he does, of course, Clinton fans will call him names, or say that
he should be shot.

What happens in Vegas
8:30pm Eastern: Obama BLOWS IT; Obama flubs again on human rights/national security; China comes up, but not China funny money; Edwards plant joke and faux populism fall flat; CNNs abortion-crusading Suzanne Malveaux shoves citizen questioner aside; Do you prefer diamonds or pearls?
By Michelle Malkin November 15, 2007 05:31 PM --
How embarrassing.
Oops, I forgot Edwards: L for loser. No one can stand himleft, right, or center. Heres vid of him getting booed for going after Saint Hillary.
10:09pm Eastern. Oh, dear God. A UNLV student asks the last question. Directed at Hillary Clinton only: Do you prefer diamonds or pearls?
GAAAACKKKK.
Hillary cackles that she wants both. Cackle, cackle.
Plant alert! Plant alert! Here are two video clips of some emblematic moments I mentioned. The Obama flub: And Kucinichs pick me, pick me! moment: 9:49pm Eastern. Hillary and Obama go at it over entitlements.9:40pm Eastern. Kucinich finds a chance to call for impeachment. IMPEACHMENT NOW! The crowd goes wild. The Dems are in denial about the homeland security/immigration nexus.
9:37pm Eastern. Dan Riehl has seen that first citizen questioner before.
9:25pm Eastern. Citizen questions. A mother stands with her son, who has served three tours of duty in Iraq. They oppose war with Iran. Biden says Bush should be impeached if he goes to war with Iraq (he means Iran)
Words that will come back to bite Obama in the behind:
8:17pm Eastern. Hillary interjects. Ive been personally attacked again! Waaah. The audience is getting restless. Hillary attacks Edwards for throwing mud. When Edwards ran in 2004, he wasnt for universal health care.
comments (271) --Forget plants
this whole debacle is staged
.with Hillary supporters..including CNN... these people are all making Al Gore look like a rocket scientist... I stopped watching after the canned questions. I am really tired of these Q & A dog and pony shows. How about asking some serious questions, like what TH is preparing? How many more of these drivel shows are there?

The Democrat Debate from Don't Go Into The Light
Yeah, I watched it. Here are my impressions: The first 10-15 minutes were exciting due to the backbiting. After that, they settled down into the familiar Bush-bashing pattern. Hillary was on-game. She needed to be aggressive without coming off as...

This says it all. They know us better than we do. And they certainly know where Hillary's sympathies lie. Good on sHrillary, she's locked up the terror vote. Hamas: Hillary ticket to Palestinian victory

Give me a sec - I'll think of something.
"CNN ran out of time and used me to "close" the debate with the pearls/diamonds question. Seconds later this girl comes up to me and says, "you gave our school a bad reputation.' Well, I had to explain to her that every question from the audience was pre-planned and censored. That's what the media does. See, the media chose what they wanted, not what the people or audience really wanted. That's politics; that's reality. So, if you want to read about real issues important to America--and the whole world, I suggest you pick up a copy of the Economist or the New York Times or some other independent source. If you want me to explain to you how the media works, I am more than happy to do so. But do not judge me or my integrity based on that question."
RTWT at Gateway Pundit.
It looks like Dan Riehl was on to something.
CNN did an awful lot of pre-planning before last night's Las Vegas production.
Maria Luisa, (pictured) the UNLV student who asked Hillary Clinton whether she preferred "diamonds or pearls" last night, wrote on her MySpace page today that every question in last night's debate was pre-planned and censored.
The Atlantic reported:
Well, it wasn't the first time that CNN pulled this trick at a Democratic debate.
Matt Lewis at Townhall thinks that Hillary has her best friend... and he's not talking about jewelry.
UPDATE: Glenn Reynolds has several CNN updates.
Classical Values reports on CNN debate plant Khalid Khan.
Dan Riehl discovers Clinton-friendly debate plant and Arkansas democratic party leader LaShannon Spencer.
LaShannon Spencer last night (on left) "undecided" and Clinton supporter back in 2003 (on right) getting out the vote.
Dan Riehl also discovers why the crowd was so Clinton-friendly.
HotAir has more on the democratic party officer and random CNN questioner.
"damned if the Dems haven't managed to turn America into one huge soap opera..."
-
A more pernicious issue is that a previous audience question - the one about border terrorism - contained a lie. Presumably CNN approved that question, and none of the candidates or CNN anchors raised any issues with the lie.
TPM confirms that CNN planted the "diamonds and pearls" question.
They call it the Clinton News Network for a reason.
More here and here - digging deep for those undecided voters!

The War Against Political Correctness blog has done some outstanding detective work on that recent CNN debate. You know the one. The one with the college student
being told she had to ask a silly diamond question to Hillary. The one where it was supposed to be just a bunch of average joes asking questions.
But the deception was a bit more deeper then we thought.
First there was Catherine Jackson, the mother of a Iraq war vet
whose question sounded vaguely familiar. How dramatic huh? Except last may she was doing the same schtick in front of
Harry Reids office:
Thats two Harry Reid plants.
Then there was Khalid Khan who asked this question: Jenny found out that he is the President of the Islamic Society of Nevada.
