I think the poll was after DeSantis dissed Trump’s Tweet about Puerto Rico. What an establishment elite idiot. His comment “don’t monkey it up” was not very smart either.

So are you working to get Gullum elected here now ?
what is the point of your posts ?
Divide and lets the radical left win ?
Explain ?

We dont need your bite off your nose to spite your face comments .

The poll has no link to Trump carrying on about
some stats from a year old storm .

We need to defeat the left.

Scary since Republicans have fun the state for 20 years.

Religious Jews don’t hate and fear Christians at all, it’s the secular ones who do. And very few Jews are Socialists these days.

Secular Jews tend to live in big cities, and their ancestors lived in rural areas of Eastern Europe, where they were persecuted. It’s really just “flyover country” prejudice, and an unhealthy respect for academia that fuels Jewish Liberalism.

I live in FL and will vote for De Santiago. Was excited about doing so before he dined PDJT over Puerto Rico. Not excited now. But I never heard of the Communist before and no way would I help him win. Too bad Ron has disappointed so early on.

Pretty clear very few on the this thread know Florida well at all.

#1 Anti-2nd Amendent Gillum can just forget every voter who legally carries and many who don’t carry concealed but carry anyway. Democrats and Republicans will who are pro 2nd Amendment will not vote for Gillum. Period. This represents, this crossover voter well over 50% of all likely voters and their family members. Self Defence and Stand Your Ground are real, real important as crime deterrents.

#2 Gillum is dirty, politically and provably in Tallahassee as mayor and the thugs who worked for him under indictment, and FBI probes. He thinks he can ride this out— he can’t.

#3 Redistribution of wealth is NOT the reason people who know nothing about FL moved to FL— it’s the MONEY stupid, and the ZERO income tax as well as non-seizable principal asset— a homestead house cannot be taken in a bankruptcy.

#4 There are legions of Trump supporters who know who DeSantis is-— Rasmussen gets that big time... wrong.

#5 When it comes to the so-called “hispanic” vote— there is a hierarchy among the “hispanics” and at the very top is the Cuban-American, next is Argentinian, Chilean, then Puerto Rican (and there is a huge gap of the Stateside professional wealthy Puerto Ricans vs. the total welfare state cheats who live in PR and get money from their relatives. The difference being the FL resident former Puerto Rican territorial residents and the “just visiting” PR residents are a largely different demographic group. The FL resident former PR people pay US income tax. The “just visiting” and the Maria temporary people (who are living in hotels on FEMA vouchers— and have been since last September)— they pay ZERO US income tax, and are another version of gibsme dats. The hotel address is not a legal address from which to vote in a Voter ID required State. The legal former PR residents of FL are not liberals— and they know how corrupt the territory is and the entire issue of “recounted” Maria hurricane “dead”— the real record is a matter of public record in PR, and is KNOWN. They have a coroner system of death records.

There is a lot more— and Rasmussen is working for Soros and the hitlery bots. DeSantis is going to slaughter this joke of a candidate. Had Gwen Graham won— he would have had a much more difficult time of it.

I think Trump’s rally was long before
DeSantis’ betrayal.

Yes. It was.

DeSantis really stepped in it, with this absurd betrayal.

Oh yeah.... another to add to my post on idiots at Rasmussen.

Ron DeSantis speaks fluent Spanish— at rallies and in his own voice on ads— and it ain’t JEB! spanish— its real Cuban inflected (when he wants to) Catalan spanish.

Hispanics in FL majorly voted for Trump, as did blacks of any speech (Haitians, Cubans). DeSantis is working them, smartly. They don’t talk to pollsters who don’t speak their language or do it poorly.

Excuse me, but Trump did not dig up the hurricane stuff - the media dug it up. The Guardian USA was running with it for almost two weeks before he tweeted about it, ok? So let’s not blame Trump for Cruz’s poll numbers.

Im not saying anyone should vote against Desantis or not vote

I understand but we had 2 major state candidates go against the President on what is clearly (from a non-delusional Republican perspective) a study that was rigged to maximize the death toll from the Hurricanes that Puerto Rico suffered. You may not agree with the President completely but to say this study that purports a death toll of around 3000 is true as declared by the Puerto Rican Governor is typical spineless RINO behavior.

What either candidate could have said was that:
Any number of deaths in the after math of a hurricane is too many. We need to standardize our analysis of these types of disasters so we can take preventive steps in the future. We need to agree on numbers of deaths but more importantly we need to agree on causes of these deaths. If poor infrastructure is to blame then we need to work on modernizing all our states so that these kinds of deaths can be avoided where at all possible.

I would have been fine with that. But now I need to make an example of someone with my vote. I will make an example of the person that has the least impact on my life by virtue of the position he is running for. That would be DeSantis. If he loses and Rick Scott wins that will be a message to Rick Scott: mess with your base at the risk of your own political career.

It's time that Republican politicians stood up for each other like the democrats do.

The saddest part of this little insult is there are people on this site who will accept this pile of crap and say “How sad now we lose Florida.”

The Democrat is a flaming socialist. DeSantis is alreay getting 16% of the Black vote. He is winning the Hispanic vote by 11 points. Gillum wants to tax tourism and is under an ACTIVE FBI investigation for corruption.

DeSantis wins 60/40 unless Gillum is arrested then it will be 65/35.

and BTW Scott wins 58/42 (old Dems will vote for Nelson because he looks like a guy they play bingo with at the Home they live in.

If I were in Fl I would believe the polls and work harder.

There is too much confidence around here that the polls are wrong. There is nothing wrong with working hard and winning bigger.

“Trump needs to be an asset not dragging up old storm stats.”

He didn’t “drag up” anything. He was defending himself from attacks — which is why we love him. Others were dragging up old storm stats to bring him down. If he had let the lies stand without responding, we’d be calling him President Bush.
