Hillary Clinton was supposed to have a cake walk against Donald Trump in November, but a growing number of leaders within the Democratic Party are expressing worry that Trump may be a more formidable foe than expected.
Leading up to this primary season, there was a pervasive hope among Democrats that Trump would be the nominee. Many predicted a win so big that it would not only sweep Clinton into the White House, but help Democrats regain critical seats in Congress, giving her a much stronger platform to accomplish her objectives.
But much of that hope has been dissolving, as Trump wrapped up the Republican nomination and began to pull in support around him. After a big win in Indiana finished off Ted Cruz and John Kasich, Trump has been mending bridges within the Republican Party and climbing ever-higher in the polls....

One good sign I saw in a poll was that women REALLY dont trust Trump- but Republican women would still vote for him over Hillary.
Hey cut it out. When Trump became the presumptive nominee Vet has been on board.
We need our friends and he is one
I wasn’t #NeverTrump, I just preferred Cruz. I have an inkling that Trump admires Cruz and will put him in his administration.
Bwahahahaha!
The traitorous Arkansas grifting duo would probably spontaneously combust trying to do any real productive work of any kind.
Think Joe Lieberman. Highly regarded politician (as politicians go) but got primaried on the left. As they kick their 'right wing' out of the party, left is all that's left.
Nah, there was worse, much worse.
“We have needed someone like Trump to shake things up in the Demonicrats and RePUBlicans for quite some time now.”
The post WWII order is finally falling apart. The collectivist left East led by the Soviet Union fell apart beginning in the late 1980’s, it’s near cousin secular liberal West led by the compromised but still strong United States is in the process of unraveling here and in the EU, and not a moment too soon. Death to the New World Order. Long live Western civilization.
LOL, tell us how you really feel.
;-)
Back in the 1960s and 70s the Democrat party was infiltrated by the Communist Party USA, CPUSA.
Communists are patient in most cases and they slowly pushed their agenda into the mainstream of the Democrat party and brought in more communists. Moving further to the left, they started to sweep up the crazy minorities and push those agendas as turning policy into insanity is a key element in overthrowing a government. The discord and confusion allows them and the government to erode the freedoms of the the citizens and assume control.
“You need to get over your Cruz hatred. Hes no longer in the race.”
No, that is not certain. Like the death of bin Laden it is possible but not certain.
Cruz and the other Republican primary candidate holdouts, need to honor their written pledges to the GOP that they would support the eventual nominee. If they don't, it confirms to me in my mind that I picked the right guy in supporting Trump. The rest are dishonest politicians like we've always had to choose from.
The Clinton Machine and the Soros Machine have crowded out any serious opposition. They both play very hard and very dirty. No one dares to confront them, and most instead try to be coopted by them.
So, the result is that in this entire party there is no serious candidate to oppose them which is why the Bernie saga is so amusing. He was not supposed to win, but the people who don’t like Hillary have nowhere else to go except Bernie or Trump.
I think they’re going to bring John Kerry in.
Popcorn!
Neither is Pol Pot.
Hillary and Bill busted in on Trump’s wedding....they ate, drank and danced and didn’t leave a gift...they were not invited...
So true. Full disclosure: Gore’s selection of Joe Lieberman impressed me enough that I voted for that ticket i 2000 after having voted for Clinton in 1996. Lieberman is a great American and I hope Mr. Trump taps a similarly highly esteemed running mate. Sometimes, Veeps actually do make an impact on voters. I thought much more of Dan Quayle that George H.W. Bush and did vote for them both in 1988 and 1992. My first choice, as a democrat in 1992, was the late Massachusetts Senator Paul Tsongas, who actually won the primary in my state of Maryland. Sadly, his cancer battle cut his life short.
It truly is a disgrace that the democrat party has devolved into nothing but left wing radicals who constantly apologize for our country and always put our national interest dead last.
I pray night and day that there are sufficient patriotic democrats remaining to help elect Donald Trump POTUS this November!!
She also voted for Barry twice. She works in public education and is in the teachers union so that explains a lot of things. Last year my mother got so ticked off at her she disinvited her to Thanksgiving dinner. LOL! It’s pretty interesting though because I get a first hand look of how the liberal voter mind works, and it’s pretty astonishing. Basically they live in a fantasy world. Reality, facts, do not exist or have any bearing. It reminds me of when I was a kid and I was absolutely obsessed with model railroading. Even though we never had the room in our house, I would build these huge railroad setups and my mother would go nuts because they would take up the living room and the kitchen, but I could not see that or realize it because the fantasy of the model railroad was much stronger than what it was doing to reality. It’s the same mentality with my Aunt. The fantasy is much stronger than the reality. That’s why Hillary gets away with her bullsht, she plays up to the fantasy and her adherents eat it up. These people are extremely dangerous to this country.
Thanks for the great analysis. The current Communist takeover of our country led by Obama and espoused by both HRC and Bernie scares me to death. This, coupled with the Islamic tyranny sweeping across Europe, is even more terrifying.
Furthermore, it is tragic that so many in the growing minority population in the United States have no comprehension of the precious endangered Constitutional Freedoms upon which this nation was founded.
