BALLWIN, Mo.--While Ted Cruz suggested on Friday night that Donald Trump's campaign "affirmatively encourages violence," he said on Saturday that he would still support Trump if the New Yorker wins the GOP nomination.
"My answer is the same," Cruz told reporters here at a suburban St. Louis high school. "I committed at the outset, I will support the Republican nominee, whoever it is."
"Ted Cruz is going to be the nominee," interjected Carly Fiorina, a former GOP presidential candidate who is now backing Cruz.
But pressed again on whether Cruz stands by his decision to back Trump if he is the nominee, he continued: "I will support the Republican nominee, but let me be clear: Carly's exactly right. We are going to beat Donald Trump."(continued)

The way it should be and always is — a big fight in the primaries, then rally around the winner to beat the America-hating Leftist in the general. For those whose egos were so bruised about their candidate not winning in the ‘08 and ‘12 primaries that they stayed home in the general, I give a hearty FU for giving us Hussein Obama. Twice.
He also promised us that he would fight for the Rule of Law and the Constitution.
He’s already reneged on that promise before he even got out of the gate.
In BushSpeak, “support” means doing everything they can to defeat you. They’ve already told us that flat out.

Only difference, Rush was talking about the attacks on Trump and his supporters. As he said. “Only Trump can turn his supporters against him”.

He is so ridiculous. Tuesday is a disaster for him and the following week is no better especially if Kasick stays in. I don’t see anyway he can be the nominee outright.
Looks like I need to rethink my support of Cruz. It is possible that he is the low life backstabbing money grubber that ‘Trumpeters’ claim that he is.
