Cruz should have held his campaign staff accountable for spreading bad information just like Hillary should have held State Department staff accountable for not stopping jihadi savages from murdering Americans.
Asked by Todd Starnes if he was satisfied with the way Sen. Cruz has handled himself as Christian over the incident in Iowa, Carson said, Well, let me put it this way, it is not the way that I would have handled it.
I would make sure that it did not happen again, Carson continued. And I would take corrective action. Not to take corrective action is tacitly saying it is okay, or it is sort of like, as Hillary Clinton said after Benghazi, what difference does it make.

But frankly, I truly don't care WHAT you believe or not, since you are unwilling and probably also unable to accept the truth about Cruz.
BOR thinks Ted Millhouse Cruz should have the win in IOWA taken away because of election violations coercing voters with that yellow OFFICIAL LOOKING Shaming mailer. And Taken away by the proven conspiracy to inside the caucus defraud the vote with the BIG lie about Doc Carson dropping out.
BOR says Ted Millhouse Cruz should be stripped of his 8 delegates, and all the other candidate should be moved up one place higher.
This means TRUMP, RUBIO, and Carson, since Paul has left the race.
I will vote for Trump in my primary, and if Cruz is nominee, him in the general. Bush, Kasich and Rubio are the last people I’d vote for if that.
Here’s my question. If Carson was really out of clothes, were there no dry cleaners where he went? Did he ever hear of FedEx? You could ship a whole suitcase full of clothes much cheaper and quicker than flying home. Did ANYBODY on his campaign not think this would look ODD?
So, there it is. Carson threw out the bone, irresistible and just at the right time, and his opponents just couldn’t help themselves. Just like the scorpion and the turtle.
Time to move on Ben and make a decision that you’re not going to win this even with all the sympathy bumps you’d ever hope to imagine you could.

I think he is about as dirty as you are.
The dirty trick only had to turn 4 votes at each of the 1500 locations for the 6000 vote winning margin. It’s quite possible this dirty trick is the reason for the win by Cruz even though polls (even entry polls) leading up to the election pointed to a different outcome.
Ben accepted his apology, Christian man to Christian man. I don’t think Ted did anything wrong, but apologized for the hurt CNN did in this case.
Carson accepted the apology, and that is the end of it. That is why this is now a non story, because that is what forgiveness looks like...

That SHOULD be the end of it, but of course not in the eyes of anyone who stands to benefit from the story’s continuance. I thought I saw Carson in some interview questioning why no one in the Cruz campaign had paid for the mistake. In all truth, if the apology was indeed the “end of it,” Carson would not have followed up with any such speculation.
My guess is that Carson feels he can make hay with this somehow and that Cruz was unwilling to sacrifice any responsible party because said party was too high up in his campaign’s ranks (Steve King?)

Cruz publicly apologized to Carson. He admitted his campaign’s mistake. Cruz is under no obligation to fire anyone over this, especially since CNN seems to be the source of the false info.
Carson is way over his head in this race. He needs to drop out soon before he completely ruins his reputation.
