The Jewish donors gathered Thursday had two demands of the Republican presidential candidates who'd come to speak to them: unambiguous support for Israel and respect.
Donald Trump seemed to fail at both.
The party's 2016 front-runner openly questioned Israel's commitment to the Mideast peace process in his remarks to the Republican Jewish Coalition, echoing comments he made the night before in an interview with The Associated Press. He drew boos after refusing to endorse Jerusalem as the nation's undivided capital. And he suggested to the influential group simply wanted to install a puppet in the White House....

Frankly... a crack down on the open malefactors approach would probably be superior and more biblical too. Ishmael, for worse or better, represents an accommodation by God for the human results of Abraham’s folly. They are going to be ill tempered and we might as well accept that. But we can’t accept any and all nonsense from them. Especially not riding on lefty OR righty political correctness that blinds us to distinctions in how individuals act.
They would have to meet with a clean slate and both would have to make sacrifices. He knows that Israel has already made sacrifices and he is not sure they would be willing to do that.
He said he would know within 6 months if a deal was possible or not.
He is not trying to force Israel into anything they would not agree with.
It is my belief that he wants what is best for Israel the same way he wants what is best for America.
Thanks... then we can all look and make up our own minds. Spin in both directions is running rampant. Trying to infer something from something he never answered, is fraught with risk. It doesn’t mean he opposes, it could mean “depending on what you mean, but I’m not getting into that right now.”
He knows. He is just saying that if a deal is to be made that both sides would have to meet with a blank slate and both would have to make sacrifices.
He knows that Israel has already made sacrifices and does not know if they would be willing to sacrifice more.
This could cautiously augur well.
I think Trump realizes there are some people who won’t ever make deals. Because they won’t be friendly for love nor money. That’s why he isn’t saying, let’s make a deal with Mexico.
IF, big huge IF, wisdom can be brought to the table, the Islamic side could be brought to realize that if they don’t assent to the control of their rabid members, it’s all going to go to hell and none of them will like the results. There are gratuitous agitator problems on the Jewish side as well, but that’s far easier to deal with.

Not a big deal, even attendees must recognize that that was Trump on Thursday, and it's almost Friday. By Saturday, he'll figure out Israel's capital.
You could’ve spent 1 minute and read my recent posts which clearly show me to be a Trump supporter. Instead you chose the spoiled, 3rd graders approach. At least I know not to waste my time with you in the future.
I just listened to the whole speech and the crowd was very friendly the whole time. He didn’t answer one question about how Israel should deal with the Palis, the questioner wanted details; Trump said he wanted to talk to Netanyahu first.
Maybe the author listened to a different talk?
Listen to the actual speech.
Trump was speaking to Republican Jews
Something else Democrat Don has in common with the left.
History has shown that an all Jewish State does not work well either. Simply trade unhappy Moslems for persecuted Christians in the Middle East while sowing peace between secular and religious, and at the same time increasing the Jewish birth rate while maintaining good relations as much as possible with most nations. Wait for Messiah.
OK. Good if you are a Trump supporter. So am I. Go convince someone else to support Trump. I’m already on board. Stay well!
>>>But he’s taken in twice as much from donations as he’s put in<<<
Please Publish the actual Documentation you have obviously compiled to make your claim. Trump only accepts small personal Donations and whatever profit he makes on his Campaign Merchandise.
If it upsets you that he isn’t wasting his Money on his Campaign, you obviously must think The Jebster is really getting the bang for his Donors Bucks.
I didn't say we had our consulate in East Jerusalem.
Currently, the United States has three diplomatic office facilities in Jerusalem: a consulate on Agron Road in West Jerusalem, a consular annex on Nablus Road in East Jerusalem and a new office annex in the neighborhood of Arnona, located on an area of "no man's land" between East and West Jerusalem, which opened in October 2010.
The 1947 UN agreement is dead letter and everyone knows it in reality. But Arab oil, Muslim Jihad, and communist internationalism demand that we pretend.
We? Name one country that has its embassy in Jerusalem.
Is the US pushing Israel to give up the Galilee and West Jerusalem?
I got suckered before watching video (forget my post 27) Then I watch video....Trump got a standing ovation, very positive reception for him. Geez I got to remember these anti-Trump clowns and their lies are everywhere.
