Donald Trumpâs fall from atop the GOP presidential polls has started, turning Decision 2016 into a two-horse race with U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, in my opinion.
A national Reuters poll, released Friday, showed Trumpâs support has tumbled 12 percentage points since making controversial, indefensible remarks about the Nov. 13 Paris terrorist attacks.....

LoL there was no fall. Roooters cut the people they polled by almost half. Even if it was the true case, it's not, that Trump fell by 12 he's still has 3 times more the percentages over the nearest competition. Most of the competition would disappear into negative numbers if lost an alleged 12% heh.
Trump still is a few points higher with 'likely voters' in the same poll.

LOL!
Everyone sure is trying to make something of two polls with a 6 point MOE each.
(6 + 6 = 12 BTW)
No doubt Ted is moving up but I think not at Trump’s expense.

Why do the percentages change so much with the smaller sampling size? Did they change the demographics of the samples?

Smaller sampling size = easier to control the sampling universe attributes...and easier to get the desired results.

The liberal at Reuters/Rooooteers don’t like the results they see in their own poll since it’s Trump who is always on top, so they manipulate the numbers polled. It’s easier to manipulate 346 (this poll) nationally than say around 550 to 600 that the usually poll. It’s not hard to play with who they poll and how many they want to poll. And it gives all the Libs, Fox News a narrative for them to talk about that Trump is losing support. Yippeeee.
To: Aria
If you don’t have 1,000 respondents in your sample, it’s not a reliable poll. And that counts if you narrow down your overall sample to a sub-group...that sub-group has to still have 1,000. That’s what I learned in statistics class.

This must be the fourth or fifth variation of this I have read. Is the same guy writing them all or did a memo go out - push Cruz to take down Trump?

ok, thanks. I didn’t take statistics but I do accounting and to me a % is a %. Obviously more to play with when you’re dealing with statistics.
