Carsons chief competitor for the Republican presidential nomination at the moment is billionaire former reality television star Donald Trump, who has not been shy about attacking and ridiculing his opponents throughout the campaign.
On Sunday, however, across multiple telephone interviews with talk shows, Trump adopted the tone of a concerned colleague, suggesting that he is genuinely worried about Carson, whom, he said, he has come to consider a friend.

My gut told me early on that he was a red herring and a secret Dem.
A lot of Freepers were thinking the same thing about Trump before he got in the race, me included, about him being a secret Dem sent to get Hillary elected.

I suspect there are many who find that imagery offensive. They supported Carson because of his humble origin and demeanor along with his fearless conviction in his faith.
But I find the image pleasing. It vindicates what I've been saying for months on FR, even if I was the only one paying attention to me.
Ironically there are former Pro-Hillary blogs that have thrown out Hillary and now support Trump, because Hillary has gone so far left and because they hate Obama for stealing the nomination through primary fraud.
Trump is more his own man than all other candidates. Because all others must obey their rich donors.
I can overlook the pyramid theory, his multi level marketing infomercial, the West Point BS, the hammer attack, and so on BUT being pro TPP and PR statehood is unforgivable.
Anyone associated with Sharpton, Farrakhan and other leftwing socialists & racists should be rejected immediately - i.e. reject Carson. Immediately.
Add that image to the list too. Unacceptable.
