My gut told me early on that he was a red herring and a secret Dem.
In Fox's latest poll how they would scatter in the four winds...
Trump 34/+8
Rubio 16/+5
Cruz 14/+3
Fiorina 5/+2
Bush 5/+1
Huck 5/+1
I suspect there are many who find that imagery offensive. They supported Carson because of his humble origin and demeanor along with his fearless conviction in his faith.
But I find the image pleasing. It vindicates what I've been saying for months on FR, even if I was the only one paying attention to me.
I can overlook the pyramid theory, his multi level marketing infomercial, the West Point BS, the hammer attack, and so on BUT being pro TPP and PR statehood is unforgivable.
Good. Carson is a clown and Can ONLY hurt us. I’m still not a “fan” but do like Trump a bit more as each day passes.
Anything that damages the GOP establishment is OK with me. Only revolution will wrest the country from the stranglehold that the big GOP and Dem’s have in it. I’d rather be a blocking minority party than in bed with the likes of John Boner and Bitch MacDonald.
Carson is a net negative for the race. Frankly, he just makes the Right look bad.
Look folks, we all know now that the Politico story was a hit piece. But guess what? This doesn’t automatically grant added credibility to Ben Carson or to anything else he said. All it means is that one particular claim that Politico made about him was false - nothing more. There are still all kinds of other questions about his credibility and honesty, coming from all kinds of other sources, that are still out there.
He’s a terribly flawed candidate in a way that simply is not recoverable. Not only does he have honesty issues, but he’s also bad, bad, bad on a lot of the issues. He’s queasy on guns. He’s queasy on dealing with illegal immigration. He doesn’t have enough sense to understand what’s wrong with granting Puerto Rico statehood. He’s all in for Obama’s sovereignty-destroying TPP deal. It isn’t just his weirdness about the pyramids - he’s objectively wrong on a lot of important issues.
No thanks. No sale.
IMHO there are only two candidates that will not stay with the status quo of the GOPe. They are Trump and Cruz. Carson is self destructing with his support of TPP and Puerto Rico statehood. For me it is either Trump or Cruz or better yet a Trump/Cruz ticket.
Agreed. But I think Cruz will get some of Carson’s support too.
Carson is a whack job and needs to get out of the race NOW. A lot of others need to get out too. Too many nonviable candidates and too many stuck on stupid voters. Same stuff, different election. If the dissension gets much worst, say hello President Kankles.
I have never seen so many supposed conservatives collude with a liberal publication to sink a conservative in a primary.
I was also horrified when I saw the frozen picture on the youtube video of Dr. Carson shaking the hands of the devil Sharpton. Then I listened to the clip.
If you want to see what a nightmare a Carson candidacy would be to the Democrats, just listen to it. He uplifts black people. He makes them self-confident and proud of their history. This is the opposite message of Sharpton who makes sure after Carson’s speech to say that Ben Carson is NOT his choice for President. Well Duh! A Carson presidency would be devastating to a race baiter like Sharpton!
Doesn’t look like Carson has made real efforts to qualify for the ballots in key states. He’s not in this for the long haul.
Carson jumped off of the amnesty cliff.
Like the GOPe, a few people are incapable of comprehending how unpopular that suicidal policy is right now, due to the advance of Islam being so blatant the media can’t deflect the issue to secondary status.
Carson isn’t holding the GOPe at bay.
Their lockstep obeisance to the Chamber of Amnesty is.
