Today's Donald Trump news: As a thick crowd gathered Thursday afternoon on New York's Fifth Avenue to get a glimpse of Pope Francis, the faithful caught sight of someone else Donald Trump. The presidential candidate stepped out of his company headquarters at about 4:30 p.m. and waved. But the crowd quickly reminded Trump that despite countless appearances on talk shows, rallies and over-populated debates they weren't there to see him. Trump heard some cheers, but was mostly showered with boos, a reaction that might not have pleased the pope, who had just finished preaching about the Golden Rule: New York Daily News
There was already a buzz surrounding Pope Francis and Donald Trump. In addressing a joint meeting of Congress earlier in the day, the Pope challenged politicians to reject a "mind-set of hostility," saying "we, the people of this continent, are not fearful of foreigners, because most of us were once foreigners. I say this to you as the son of immigrants, knowing that so many of you are also descended from immigrants." Trump has been outspoken on the issue of immigration, leading some pundits to claim the comments were a veiled shot a Trump: Albany Times Union
Trump remains the Republican front-runner -- but a new poll confirms that he's losing some support. Hillary Clinton also maintains her advantage on the Democratic side, even if the undeclared Joe Biden jumps into the mix....

The no-longer silent majority stands with Trump. The noisy, petulant minority does not.

The crowd must have been chock full of illegal invaders.
Who else but an invader or liberal enabler (¡JEB!) would have been booing D Trump?
I wouldn’t boo him.
But I also certainly wouldn’t fall all over myself to lick his shoes like some people are doing.
This could be easily enough explained without dragging illegals or Jebites into it.
If they thought they were going to see the pope and saw Trump instead, they were disappointed and booed.
Although, personally I also wouldn’t stand in line or stand around hoping to see the pope either. Not just because I’m not Catholic either- although obviously, I guess that plays into it.
Of course this took place in Liberal Demonratland, New York, NY.
Do you stand on one foot, at a time?
Sometimes I hop around.
Sometimes I do the hokey pokey.
Good. You are busy with a meaningful life.
Many of them will be Mexicans, no doubt.
Okay....a crowd in the streets (idolizing the Pope who wants the US to accept all invaders with open arms) doesn’t like Trump. Well, yeah. Strange world when Trump is defending Christianity and the Pope is advocating for hordes of invaders to destroy every nation on earth.
Reality has it’s advantages.

Trump was coming out of his own business office on Fifth Avenue, so it wasn’t like he had no business there.
The someday St Francis just loves hisself some illegal invaders, and wants us to love them too.
I would stand in line for Cruz, not Trump, but I wouldn’t boo him if he did walk by.
The Pope, on the other hand, I may have a few carefully chosen words for.
But that just may be the Baptist in me.
But I wouldn’t go out of my way to get close enough to say them.
So sick of the Dopesters Popester. And so glad I’m not a Catholic.
Ann Coulter has really gone off the deep end.
OMG. A group of New York liberal Catholics don’t like Trump?
I would take Trump over the white devil of the New World Order anytime.
