1. Illegal Immigration is Act of Love
2. Dismisses Opponents of Common Core as Conspiracy Theorists
3. Praise of Hillary Clinton 4. He is Way Past His Prime
Jeb Bushs entry into the presidential race marks the first time he has run for office since 2002. By contrast, Scott Walker has run in three elections since 2010.
5. His Last Name
Yet perhaps the biggest albatross Bush faces is his very name. This is perhaps unfair. But this is especially true after he told Megyn Kelly last month that he would have authorized the War in Iraq. After taking heat over the comments, Bush would later claim he misunderstood the question and said he would not have authorized the war after all.

Did you see #47 upthread?
I found that recent February article where Schiavo’s brother defends Jeb Bush against “smears” of the Right to Die group that he believes are behind resurrecting these accusations. I sent it to EV who prefers to remain un-impressed.
I am not *for* Jeb Bush, but I’m also not *for* losing a grip on reality by insisting on facts that don’t bear out or stand the test. I mean, who dares argue with the brother of Terri Schiavo, who suffered through that tragedy and was shown no mercy either. I still think her case landed in the US House of Representatives and that was the real end of the hunt.
I pinged Jim and *onyx because this accusation against Jeb may get thrown around a lot over the course of this campaign, as if it were Gospel, and I am going to be seen referring to these articles that give the other side. Schiavo’s brother should probably be given a hearing on FR, don’t you think?
If no one wants to read them, well that’s okay too.
Because conservatives cannot unify behind ONE candidate. GOPe got begind just one candidate in 2012 & 2008. That is why they win. Face the truth.
Meh. Not buying it.
In those years, The GOPe had their selection-process, we conservatives had ours. They won mostly because they rig the state level, and because they have money.
Dear Powers That Be,
I, Lazamataz, can be bought. Please make an offer.
Yours,
Laz
We'll read what you post. But this "who dares to argue with..."attitude? I don't know what is going on in the brother's heart and mind. In the difficult situation the family went through, denial is often a part of the healing process.
For me, I remember when the whole thing was coming down. I don't understand why Jeb didn't defy any rulings, go in, and bring Terri to safety. Anyone who doesn't have the guts to take that kind of risk isn't going to change the world.
Besides that, Jeb is wrong on just about every issue, at least for any candidate for whom I would support.
So, yeah, post your stuff. But I'll "dare" to argue with it if I disagree!
I am all for argument. Argue away. Jeb Bush deserves it. I just think this one is a little wobbly and I still believe it went to the HOR in DC.
I can’t remember why though? Something trumped state’s rights is the only thing I can think of. And her husband had a powerful death squad in both Florida and in DC behind him. Lord, have mercy.
All of the above.
Jeb! (LOL) is here in soviet Red Hampshire today, sniffing around the hindquarters of the local media and potential big donors...he’ll need those democrat cross-over votes to win the primary.
By the way...whoever posts that ‘Little Jebbie’ graphic has ruined my wife for this election. Every time she goes to the grocery store or Dollar Store and she sees a display of those ‘Little Debbie’ snack cakes; she absolutely loses it...goes into hysterics. They have to send employees after her with those butterfly nets to chase her out of the store...it’s pretty bad.
” But I seriously doubt Trump has a chance to win nomination.”
Well we will soon find out as The Donald has announced. :-)
Terri was murdered on the order of a federal court. She won the vote in Congress.
Thank you for clearing that up for me. I was pretty sure it went past Jeb Bush, all the way to Congress. We forget the death forces had some real clout. It was demonic, the whole thing.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Trump withdraw by January.
That's pretty much the standard GOP establishment line now.
True enough. Should be mentioned. I know my memory is much shorter than it used to be. And I had forgotten Ms. Schiavo. Thanks for the reminder.
Yeppers.
