Ben Carson announces presidential run!
Then you would not vote for Dwight Eisenhower or George Washington.
Just remember, there is all kinds of gun control all over the place as we speak. Try owning a machine gun in NY city or Chicago. So long as I have my trusty Remington pump, I do not need any fast firing machine guns. The burglar who breaks in only needs one bullet from my Remington.
Bears repeating! Ditto with Fiorina. Very very useful to attack Hillary without being called war on women. Carson takes away the meme "GOP is old white men's party".
They aren't likely to win, but both will make GREAT campaigners for whoever (no Jeb, no, no, no) wins the nomination.
In spite of the fools on this website that are short sightedly trashing them, they will make great cabinet members.
After hearing him talk, I think I’ve got the 2016 candidate for the Republicans. He’s down to earth. Obama sat there and listened to him. A few points he made, everybody clapped but Obama. Everybody knows why if they think. He outshined the goof by a mile.
Not an exact quote. Here’s the exact quote:
I think if you live in the midst of a lot of people, and Im afraid that that semi-automatic weapon is going to fall into the hands of a crazy person, I would rather you not have it,
Nothing about a law or anything. His personal opinion.
Carson has no chance. And with that level of ignorance, doesn't deserve one.
Where did he say “deny”? I’ll wait patiently while you find it.
AppyPappy please do not hold your breath.
No one has more than 23% chance to win as of now.
Latest poll shows:
Bush 23, Rubio 18, Walker 14, Paul 11, Cruz 11, Huckabee 5, Christie 5, Carson 7, Perry 2, Santorum, Kasich, Graham, Jindal, Fiorina 1
Carson has at least 7% chance. That is better than Christy, Huckabee & many others. In his declaration speech today he said "I am not even pushing anyone to vote for me, but please listen to what I have to say" (paraphrasing). The doctor realizes he won't win nomination, but he will push the GOP in a better direction.
You sound like those idiot bushbots during jorge’s second run. I’m not going to waste time on fools.
you’ve taken a couple of steps down the slippery slope to total prohibition and you don’t even know it. Establishment Republicans and other liberals love people like you. “as long as I have MY gun ...”
Amendment II
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
“arms” is a general and vague term. It could mean anything from a hand gun to a howitzer or cannon. Both are “arms”. Where should the line be drawn? May be SCOTUS will rule the judgement.
Unique to have a presiential candidate whoe most popular Youtube video where he led a surgical tteam that seperated conjoined twins.
SPANKED!
blah blah medical consequences
Everything you do has medical consequences. Your diet has medical consequences, but do you think the government has the right to regulate your diet because it has "medical consequences?"
Thanks for pointing out that analogy because it helps me point out that Carson was NOT asking for government regulation.
It would be like he said he’d rather you not dine on steak and eggs and bacon every meal every day.
Is he going to ban that? SHOOT NO.
Is he going to advise what he thinks is wise for an individual to choose? SHOOT YES.
It’s like doctors need to quit being doctors once they hope for a public post?
Wherever I as Citizen want to draw it (for me.) In reality, your income cuts off what you're going to buy. Can you afford a $75,000,000 fighter aircraft? I know I can't. When the BOR was written citizens could own cannon, mortars, etc without restriction.
And your contempt (”blah blah”) only highlights the pettiness of your view.
Now you're just being disingenuous.
