What we really crave is a conservative winner who doesn't cave. And Scott Walker is very arguably that guy.
He won in 2010. He picked a fight with Big Labor and won. He survived a recall. And he won again in 2014 by almost the same margin as he did in 2010. That's three wins in four years for a man who governed as a conservative reformer in a state that the Republican presidential nominee hasn't carried since 1984.

Yes, because they know he is a threat to the liberal stranglehold on DC. They know how to divide us.
You are smarter than this....falling for lies from the liberal media.
Walker does not support a path to citizenship.
Stop posting liberal LIES
Do you think it's possible that the press is trying to define him this way? Does the press ever pick who they want and don't want so that they can use their power to shape who ends up elected?
Check into it yourself and avoid having others tell you how they want it to be - if that's what you're doing - i dunno if you are or not.
Do you have sources besides the WaPost and Mini-Me?
I don’t believe the lack of a degree has to be an issue. The prevailing wisdom in 1984 was that Reagan’s age would be an issue.
They are clear lynch pins stuck in the map of politics for me. Indicators of political expediency, personal feelings or other motives, if you will.
That said, I fully agree with your last sentence. We DO need a CLEAR statement from Walker on his position on illegal aliens, amnesty, pathways and all the other double-speak one could utter. We need the statement as soon as possible, not when he's been crowned the GOP nominee and has to flop over to the GOPe and Coc sentiment on the matter.
I for one, won't be voting for him for anything unless I get a resounding NO from him on any form of Amnesty or Pathway because I feel that this issue holds the future of the sovereignty of this country.
Well, SAM, your observation regarding the metro areas of the state controlling the election outcomes is common in states without apportioned electoral votes (like my own Ohio).
If the electoral votes were cast in favor of the candidate winning the popular vote in the DISTRICT (with the remaining two statewide, based on the popular vote total in state), we would NOT have this second term of Zero and 0bamunists mucking up the country and its proud heritage.
I dont believe the lack of a degree has to be an issue.

I agree, but for other reasons. There is a shift in attitude taking place in the country. It may not be great at present, but it is there. People are beginning to realize with this economy that a highfalutin college degree is no guarantee of a job or how intelligent one is. I believe trade schools will soon become the new path in education. There is so much BS being taught in colleges today, including the socialist agenda, that it has become a total waste of valuable productive years, saying nothing about the huge expense incurred to get the worthless indoctrination.
The last four years has been a parade of academics ‘running’ things. Any reasonably competent politician can hit that pitch into orbit.
It’s settled then - Valerie Jarrett will be the next POTUS...
We do ourselves and our nation a favor by advancing the candidacy of this most able of possible presidents to pull America out of the Obamaswamp.
Scott Walker appears more and more to resemble Ronald Reagan in crucial ways.If he can do it with Reagan’s wit and incisiveness we win.
I would hope that Scott Walder would not sigh on to be JB’s VP. Neither would make it to Washington. Walker as candidate would win. Bush can only lose. Conservatives won’t take the VP bait again. To vote for Bush because of VP Walker we would have to hope the dice comes up box cars and the President has an early heart attack. That is a weak read on which to hang a huge weight.
Walker/Cruz. We can only dream. Cruz/Walker.
Another big plus: if Walker had any skeletons, the Dems would have found them by now.
Is not having a degree worse or better than supposedly having one but sealing all records of such?
BTW, neither Bill Gates nor Steve Jobs completed college.
Thanks.
Cruz is #1 on my wish and admire list. But I am not convinced he can win in general. Until then, I am moving walker to #1 and Cruz to #2 on my list.
My thoughts exactly.
Another big plus: if Walker had any skeletons, the Dems would have found them by now.
Not the case at all. They would hit him with their lies and propaganda during the campaign. Around Sept.-Oct., 2016.
College degrees make people stupid and arrogant.
Thanks Secret-serviceman: What you say about Wisconsin is almost the exact same for Minnesota. Outside the Twin Cities and Duluth, it is a nearly universal sea of red on the maps.
What we are seeing is a microcosm of the nation. The blue on US map is almost universally restricted to the east and west coasts, and only the large cities will show up blue on the other states’ maps.
