Bang-List people - sign this, and then pass it on. If the liberal tyrants can rip up the guarantees of the First Amendment by the mere passage of a law, which Amendment do you think will be next?

My comment to President Bush was as follows:

Mr. President, I strongly urge you to take a definitive stand in defense of the Constitutionally-guaranteed right of freedom of speech. There is no excuse for those in Congress who violated their oath to "...preserve, protect and defend the Constitution...." I expect you to veto this outrageous and illegal bill, and to uphold your own oath. In addition to being the right thing to do, if you explain it correctly to the American public, you will score political points and wake up the American people to what the liberals have been trying to do for decades - destroy our freedoms and our Constitution. Do the right thing and uphold your oath of office - VETO this bill!!

At least the President cannot claim he never heard us....

That's my big point about email- the politicos we send them to almost universally answer back, so they can't claim the did not hear from us. They may ignore it, but by George they did get our opinions. And I think they ignore this at their own peril.
