Morris Telling Off Van Sustern Live!
Fox News | February 7, 2002 | Me

Posted on 02/07/2002 6:41:08 PM PST by Land_of_Lincoln_John

Check it out! Dick Morris is telling Greta Van Sustern that "She has no idea what she is talking about."

On terrorism, Clinton looked the other way, according to Morris. When Van Sustern objected, Morris snapped: "I was there, you weren't."

Morris to Van Sustern: "You are still a CNN person."

If I was Morris I would have said, "Sounds like you're still wearing your kneepads Greta."

She won't last 6 months at Fox. I'll never watch her again. I only watched her twice...........hear that Fox?????

So, Greta would be perpetually uncomfortable? ...confronted with fact and nowhere to run?

That would make me feel good. I'd watch.

it seems as though the toe sucker has turned against Billy Jeff.

LOL, I guess that depends on what day of the week it is.

"I'm quoting facts from the New York Times."

Did she say that with a straight face? Oh, I just remembered: post-op, she can say ANYTHING with a straight face!

Greta's all attitude and no substance. She quoted the New York Times!! Awful.

Morris had facts, truth, and FOX spunk. Greta did the equivalent of rolling her eyes, sighing, stomping her feet and in general being a jerk. It was Al Gore in the debates all over again.

Dick: you can do better than Greta. FOX, you too.

ReGretta was on Fox and Friends this a.m..

I saw a little bit of this this morning. It seemed to me they were desperatly trying to spin what had happened the night before to make it look like Morris had been the one that was out of line.

Morris' line about her still being a CNN person really seemed to hit her hard. She didn't seem to have any good response. It would be like talking to someone that switched from Windows to Linux and saying "you're still one of those Windows guys".

I agree with you. I know alot of people here detest Dick Morris. Regardless of his past and personal life, the man is a political genius and I love watching him on Fox because he always knows what he's talking about. I have heard him twice (on Fox) refer to his papers from such and such date, and I'm sure that man has saved EVERYTHING. Clinton must just crap everytime Morris goes on TV. Morris seems to be leaking out juicy tidbits everytime he goes on the air. I think it's partly revenge, but I also like to think Morris has realized what he sold to the country and is attempting to make some restitution. I like him.

From the look Morris gave her when she said that, I think he was thinking something more along the lines of expletives that can't be repeated on this forum! I thought it was so funny!

I believe that girly man Morris purposely did that. I cannot stand him, he is a gossiper and a wuss.

Just think about it,have you ever saw him give us such a performance when being confronted by a man.

Even when he is normal, he makes me want to puke. He is another that talks out of both sides of his mouth.

Wasn't Dick Morris the Republican that went to work for Clinton in his '96 reelection bid, but he later got caught up in a peccadillo of his own? Maybe it was a result of too much influence too much proximity to Billy Bubba? However, if he told off a Clintonite, he may have some redeeming value after all.

You have to make it clearer for a TV audience, though I've not yet seen demographics to indicate that Fox is any better or worse than most. try this version instead:

If I was Morris I would have said, "Greta, it sounds like you're still wearing your Monica's kneepads."

Maybe Monica and Greta can co-host a show....

Someone told me Greta was on Fox this morning trying to put some positive spin on the butt-kicking she took last nite - did anyone see her this A.M.? I missed both the show and the rehash.

That's the truth. We keep the tv on Fox News until it's time to watch Alan Keyes on MSNBC.

Yes, she was. I only caught part of it, I was getting ready for work, but she was making Morris out to be the a**hole, while she was just trying to conduct an interview. Of course, the FoxFriends were slobbering all over her, which was to be expected, I guess, now that she's playing for their team. It's been the same way with Whorealdo.

Part-time Clearwater residents Greta Van Susteren (CNN) and her husband John Coale (Washington, D.C., high-class ambulance chaser) were revealed to be among the Scientologists bilked by one of their own (allegedly) gone bad, Reed Slatkin, according to a federal indictment.

John Coale and Hugh Rodham(Hillary's brother) are "friends". They were together in suing the cigarette industry. I just figured that it was one of those Hillary schemes to get part of the money for herself. Who knows? But, if you will notice, I believe, that it was also Greta's husband who was representing one of the Clinton foes during impeachment. So all of this crap is probably coming straight from the Clintons. If there is anything that Dick Morris KNOWS it is the Clintons. He was part of them until the toe sucking incident when they threw him overboard for the same thing that Clinton was doing. I'm sure it was almost impossible for him to keep his mouth shut about it. I can guarantee you that I believe Hillary was the person who had him thrown overboard. Bill Clinton would be too chicken to do something like that.
