Clinton OK After Airport Incident News/Current Events Source: News 12 Published: 10/14/01 Posted on 10/14/01 8:04 PM Pacific by areafiftyone
YONKERS - A bizarre accident at Westchester County Airport involved Senator Hillary Clinton's entourage Sunday. Sources tell News 12 Westchester that a vehicle in Senator Clinton's security team tried to bypass a mandatory check point at the airport, which has been under a heightened state of alert since the terrorist attacks. A county police officer attempting to stop the vehicle from getting through injured his shoulder. That officer was taken to Saint Agnes Hospital in White Plains, and his condition is not known. Senator Clinton, who turned 54 Sunday, was en route to board a jet to an unreleased destination. The former first lady could not be reached for comment. |

Online Prowler--The American Spectator -
- Sen. Hillary Clinton is losing fans by the day on Capitol Hill due to
- her performance at last Tuesday's Bush address to Congress.
-
- According to congressional reporters, Senator Clinton pushed fragile
- Republican Strom Thurmond out of the way in order to get to the NBC New
- York affiliate's camera crew. "Thurmond stumbled and nearly fell down,
- but Sen. Ted Kennedy grabbed hold of him," says one of the reporter
- witnesses.
-
- Clinton has also further angered her own leadership. Her staff
- presented Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle with a request that he
- approve two additional positions for her office at salaries of $85,000
- or more. "She wants to hire a permanent staff pollster and media
- adviser," says a source in the minority leader's office. "She explained
- that they would be available to all of her Democratic colleagues, but
- they would work out of her offices."
-
- The so-called "office expenses" indicate how naive Clinton is about
- real-world politics. It would be next to impossible to hire a pollster
- at a salary of $85,000, let alone cover the costs of polling out of a
- Senate office. "She's thinking like a first lady, and not a freshman
- senator," says the Daschle aide. "But no one has the nerve to tell her
- where to get off."

THIS JUST IN: the current hostilities have finally given Bill Clinton a chance at immortality. He is now the only President to dodge the draft in two wars. Consistently, he is the only American President entitled to wear both The Islamic Distinguished Flying Carpet Ribbon and the Chinese Congressional...
medal of treason!

firehat (Norm Liebmann), outrageously, burningly brilliant, as always.CLINTON'S PLACE IN HISTORY is another of his conflagrant conceits.

I'm talking about wasting time on silly HTML/CSS stuff that detracts from your message, ...
Ever hear of cut&paste?
To: RedWing9; ThreadKiller; Howlin
RedWing9: OK, she cuts and pastes.
But it's STILL ugly, IMNHO.
Threadkiller and Howlin: I'm astonished that I cannot render any sort of opinion you disagree with without getting labeled a "liberal disruptor." FYI, goombahs, I happen to believe that the Federal government is about 4000% as big as it is supposed to be, I believe in an unlimited right to own and carry small arms (up to and including fully automatic infantry weapons and grenade launchers), I think all income and corporate taxes should be replaced by a retail sales tax itemized on each receipt...I'm probably somewhat to the right of the "mainstream" here on FR, yet I'm a "liberal disruptor" for committing thoughtcrime.
I'm an "outsider?" OK, if that makes it easier for you to hate me, feel free to hang that label on me. Good grief!

Last I heard, running down a security guard at an airport (or any officer) was a crime. I am disturbed that if you or I did this, we would be arrested, strip searched, and held until every single government agency investigated every aspect of our lives. I am disturbed because us average folks are not allowed to get on an airplane with nailclippers or are decontaminated because glitter falls out of a greeting card or are made to sit in an airplane on the tarmac for hours, because someone found talcum powder in a bathroom of all places. Yet no one seems to find it important that in her attempt to NOT stop for a mandatory security check has been met with a yawn.
She was one of the 99 senators that voted for the Anti-Terrorist Act, yet she refuses to stop for a mandatory check?
I am disturbed because informing people of this event is an apparent crime to some, rather than the actual incident.

Kind of touchy aren't you?! YOU threw the first flame. What?! You thought no one would respond?! If you did not like the thread, you could/should have moved on.

Make your point, be succinct, and avoid flashiness that overwhelms your message.Don't tell me, a teacher, right?

... If we are to cure the clintons' malfeasance and malpractice, the clintons and their depravity must be exposed. That they refuse to leave the public arena makes this task even more imperative.Oh Mia T, It is imperative! !!!!!!!!
Love your dynamite synopsis of hillary s filthy operations...always chilling. And I loved reading the review of Barbara Olson 's upcoming book on the final days of the klinton presidency. I truly cannot wait to read this book. I am so saddened that she was on one of the terrible flights, and am freaked that she saw the pardoning of the terrorists as sending a message.....prophetic to the max.
BTW-I think the klinton's are rather stupid. Only genuine idiots would wreck the presidency with such overt, depraved acts and think no one would care. That is NOT how truly smart people operate.
And I would love to throw hillary's quote about women who are abused right back in her face. Maybe I will get the chance someday. I would love to get right up next to her ugly, phony, arrogant mug and shout, with decorum, of course :^), "Hey ho, hill, since you consider abuse of women a criminal NOT CULTURAL act, when are you going to take your husband to task for RAPING JUANITA BROADDRICK? I mean, you ARE sworn to uphold the laws of our land, no?"

Just because you CAN do something with HTML does not mean that you SHOULD do it. Just because you CAN bitch and moan does not mean that you SHOULD do it.
Mia's been doing this for years, and most of us rather like her style. Grown-ups know that they can simply stay away from the thread if they don't like it.
