It may look hokey now but it wasn`t too bad for the time it was made.

I'll take one of each.... Yowza, that pilot's a babe! The 'pilot' is Jessica Biel.

Mmmmmm. Jessica Biel. Guess this won't be a very high quality movie, at least as far as the acting is concerned.

Yeah, should be NM, not nm.
To: finnman69
unfortunately its not real... Did the USAF markings on a Navy jet give it away?

The pilot looks like a sixteen y/o Korean boy. Not my type.
To: finnman69
The fact that it looks just a tad too much like a Klingon Bird of Prey gives away how fake this picture is. Plus, I doubt a real Navy pilot would be sitting there like a grinning chimp with her mask off while supposedly trying to ready the plane for flight.

Yowza, that pilot's a babe! The actress is Jessica Biel. She was the eldest daughter in the WB's family drama Seventh Heaven.
Kind of cute, but it doesn't feel right, having watched her grow up on TV.

Why are the MLG chocks in place if the plane has been captured in the cradle ready for a cat shot? Is that SOP?

hhhhhmmmm.
Thought the ferrimagnetic materials which I studied in the 60s
and which became the non-reflecting skin of these birds
made their external surfaces much much BLACKER.

Plot outline from IMDB: Deeply ensconced in a top-secret military program, three pilots
struggle to bring an artificial intelligence program under control ... before it initiates the next world war. Does this plot sound familiar? Anyone remember War Games with Matthew Broderick?

and a cute on at that!Yeah, and the plane is cool looking too!!!!

The Navy has no female pilots capable of flying (and landing) such an aircraft off a carrier. The women fixed-wing aircraft pilots on carriers have been a disaster.Wrong answer, Andy. As a twenty-five year veteran airdale I have known (and witnessed) plenty of accomplished female Naval Aviators.
How much time have you spent on carriers, again??
Yeah, thought so...

That could shear the pin, snatch the FLG clean from the AC, or be a nasty bump on the way down the stretch...LOL!!

Only in hollywood would the trailing edge of a wing become the leading edge of the wing when swept forward.
maybe in 50 years someone will get that to work.

Will the real F-22 Raptor be assigned to any carriers or is it strictly land based?
