Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority: in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.

And this is the confidence we have in Him,
that if we ask anything according to His Will, He hears us.
And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask,
We know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him - I John 5: 14-15

Heavenly Father,

You are our Stability in this very unstable world. You are our Strength, our Shield, our Stronghold----our Sure Defense. We count on Your help, Lord, and You do not fail us. We picture You raising up Your hands over the turbulent waters and saying, “Peace! Be still.” Lord, not only does our world need Your peace, but also every heart has individual battles to address. We know that You have the answers. And You have offered wisdom to any who will ask for it.We confess that You have provided all that we need according to Your riches in glory through Christ Jesus. We know that without You we can do nothing, but with Jesus we can do all things. Help us to set our faces like flint as we cling to the cross, and the finished work of our Resurrected Lord. May all voters make wise choices today as primary voting is taking place in several states throught the nation.

We know that You care for our military men and women and that You will help them through times of peace and these days of war. Father, comfort them no matter what their assignment may be. Be their strength, their shield, and their sure defense. Protect them from all those who hate both America and Israel. Please reveal the lies of the enemy. Calm the fears of their family members. We pray also for Your protection of Israel, Lord, and that You would help our nation to stand in her defense always.

Father, place in every heart the desire to repent. Help us to return to You and to honor You in this nation once again. We can do it with Your help, Lord—sharing truth with one heart at a time. Help us to be bold as we share the truth those who are ready to learn of You. May Your Kingdom come to Iran and the entire Middle East. We need You, Father God and we confess with confidence that our Redeemer lives. Visit us in a mighty way. Precious King, may Your Kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. In the strong and powerful Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Father, we offer special prayers for this nation's farmers and their families. We owe them a debt of gratitude. Please reward them with bountiful crops as they help feed Americans and others.
