… Cardinal Robert McElroy…has distinguished himself as a proponent of left-wing ideology infiltrating the Catholic Church, from promoting same-sex relationships and mass immigration to excusing abortion advocacy and protecting clerical sexual abusers. Now, McElroy can add a new feather to his progressive cap: firing an exorcist….
“The Archdiocese of Washington announced … that Robert Cardinal McElroy has removed Monsignor Stephen Rossetti, a priest of the Diocese of Syracuse, N.Y., as an exorcist of the Archdiocese of Washington” …the Archdiocese of Washington said in a press release last week.
Rossetti, a licensed psychologist, has served as an exorcist for the archdiocese for years. He founded the St. Michael Center for Spiritual Renewal as a ministry dedicated to deliverance and exorcism. The archdiocese continued, “Cardinal McElroy said that statements made by Monsignor Rossetti linking UFOs to demonic presence and the Center’s recent use of social media gravely undermine the Church’s very precise teaching on the devil, demons[,] and exorcism.”
In a recent YouTube video that was subsequently deleted, Rossetti stated his “personal belief,” based on his experience combatting demons and working with those influenced or afflicted by demons, that “probably many, if not most” unidentified flying object (UFO) encounters or experiences are demonic activity. “

Chad Ripperger noted similarities between instances of demonic oppression or obsession and reports of extraterrestrial encounters. “If you strip the veneer of the alien aspect of it off … what you’re dealing with is just … they’re just demons,” Ripperger stated. …
[A] better question would be asking why a Catholic cardinal … fired the man responsible for combatting and exposing demons in that archdiocese… What is McElroy trying to hide?

The funny thing here, is that McElroy likely gave Rossetti’s opinion broader exposure than would have happened if he left things alone. The Cardinal clearly failed Strategy 101.
Like it or not, the Catholic church is hierarchal in nature. The priest was right for not pushing back regardless of the Cardinal’s reasons.

Satan needs people to be confused and kept wondering for as long as possible. This Priest pulled the curtain back too soon.
I think the issue with aliens was just the excuse the Cardinal needed to dismiss Monsignor Rossetti. There have been several other bishops who have asked their exorcists to change what they are doing because of their high profile activities. This ministry is best served in a low key fashion.

Exorcist Diary #346: Paranormal Ghost Hunting is Dangerous

12 min readRecently a video of one of our afflicted souls showed a small orb of translucent white light about one foot in diameter following her. Shortly after I received text from the demons: "I'll always be watching over my child, Stephen." (The demons never call me "Father".)
This is not the first time I've seen these little white round orbs; in each case they were demonic. Some appeared in infested houses. Others around people who were afflicted by demons. But in every case, they were demonic.
Demons occasionally appear in our physical world in other ways. We have had demons appear as "shadow men." These are often hooded dark shadowy figures, sometimes floating with no legs. In fact, as part of our initial discernment, one of the questions I ask is if they have ever seen manifestations of the demonic.
We have seen other kinds of preternatural appearances on film. But they have all been undeniably directly traceable to a demonic presence. Some people claim these can be aliens, "stuck souls," or friendly spirits. This has not been our experience. However, it is true that good angels can and do enter our world in striking ways. But the appearances of holy angels are very different from demons.
Paranormal investigators have become popular and even have their own television shows. While some may dismiss such shows, my experience has been that occasionally the preternatural does appear on film. But I think the vast majority of time they are dealing with the demonic. Thus, they are putting themselves in spiritual danger.
An unhealthy interest in the paranormal can have dire consequences. We have had those who became personally afflicted by demons after searching after paranormal experiences. Also, at the time, they were not in a state of grace and had other vulnerabilities as well. (People in a state of grace who happen to be in areas of demonic infestation are not typically at risk.) I think such ghost-hunting individuals will find that they thought they were hunting the spirits, but in reality evil spirits were hunting them.
We all are "coded" to have a desire and thirst for the spiritual. This is a good thing. But we ought to search out the Holy Spirit, the true desire of our souls. We should pray the St. Michael the Archangel prayer and enlist the aid of our guardian angel and the holy angels; these are the good Spirits. We ought to satisfy our spiritual hunger with the Bread of Life ... Jesus.
Rossetti added that he showed an image of a UFO to someone with “a particular gift,” who confirmed it was actually a demon.He also warned people against interacting with so-called aliens and even supposedly “friendly” ghosts, as they were likely demons.
“Demons like to hide,” he said.

4 min readMy book, Diary of An American Exorcist, is out and surprisingly one of the most talked about items is demons texting. This encouraged me to dive more deeply into demonic texts we have received and to look for any insights or patterns that might help us understand their behavior.
We have had three cases in which demons have texted the team and/or the family of the possessed person.* Two of these cases were the most difficult cases we have had so far, and the third involved a pious family with priestly and religious vocations among the children. So, all were "high value" targets with high-ranking, powerful demons involved. This suggests that it takes considerable spiritual "energy" to cross over and manipulate such items in the physical world, and thus this action "costs" them a lot.
Demons are not God and are not all powerful. Their abilities are limited and they focus their finite energy according to Satan's plan. Yes, he does have a plan, but it is doomed to fail. All evil is inherently self-defeating and self-destructive.
Below is a small sample of the verbatim texts we received in these cases, minus some of the particularly vile and unrepeatable demonic comments.
