Confuse them, Lord, and frustrate their plans, for I see violence and conflict in the city. Its walls are patrolled day and night against invaders, but the real danger is wickedness within the city. Everything is falling apart; threats and cheating are rampant in the streets.

It is not an enemy who taunts me— I could bear that. It is not my foes who so arrogantly insult me— I could have hidden from them. Instead, it is you—my equal, my companion and close friend. What good fellowship we once enjoyed as we walked together to the house of God."

Dear Lord Jesus, we come to you today to pray for America. Lord, I think of Ps 55 when I consider the present state of affairs, the dishonesty and political treachery. Those who desire to destroy our country have been let in the front door by extremely foolish politicians.

Our political alies are dealing very treacherously, hiding wickedness to save themselves, ignoring the disaster it will cause to our nation.

Lord Jesus may the disaster that they cared not would fall on others, fall on them.

Awaken the church and our nation to the reality of this darkness being plotted against your people and your nation.

Lord Jesus, protect President Trump, his family and staff. Give them favor and godly discernment.

Lord we pray for a quick resolution to the conflict in Ukraine and Iran.
