Is what we’re seeing in the Middle East today connected to Bible prophecy? In this message, Pastor Jack walks through Jeremiah 49 and Ezekiel 38, examining the ancient nation of Elam and its modern connection to Persia/Iran.
What does it mean that God says He will “break the bow of Elam”? Has this prophecy already been fulfilled, or are we watching key pieces of it unfold in real time as tensions rise in the Middle East?

Break the bow of Elam. Elam is Iran. Symbolic language about Iran’s military might being scattered to the 4 winds.

The Earth had an expiration date when it was created. I have been listening to these fear folks for 6 decades, with each generation fearing they would be the last. John Nelson Darby was the first to propose it in Christian Theology in the 1830s, and frankly it has certainly been a moneymaker for lots of folks..How many times have I heard “This year (fill in the blank), is the year the New Millenium begins”? I personally pray that folks just try to search for God and He will find them. Unfortunately, too many folks look for a “Quid Pro Quo” with God. “I will do this if you let me into heaven”?. Just accept that God has a purpose for your creation, and that you are a huge part of the ultimate purpose for the Creation of the Universe. As was said, seek the Kingdom of God before all other things. You don’t have to figure it all out. Just serve God, and know that you are an extremely important part of His creation. As far as the Prophecy Teachers, they serve their purpose as well. You find yours. When my lovely wife is pummeled by someone’s ignorance of scripture, she always answers in the wisest way: “That is a God Thing, and He will take care of it”.
