Artificial intelligence is no longer science fiction. It’s part of daily life. But as AI becomes more powerful, serious spiritual questions have been raised: Is AI the Antichrist? Is AI connected to end times? And how should Christians think about AI?
In my recent podcast, we cover the topic of AI because it isn’t something to discuss in the future. These are questions for right now.
Is AI the Antichrist?
The Bible tells us that in the last days, there’s going to be a world figure that will emerge—the Antichrist, also called the Beast and the Wicked One.
I don’t believe AI is the Antichrist. When the Bible speaks of the Antichrist, I believe it is referring to a real, literal person.
A man, the Antichrist, will be a world figure who comes on the scene and inaugurates what we often call the great tribulation period. The great tribulation period will begin with the emergence of Antichrist and it will end with the return of Jesus Christ.
But could AI be part of the end times scenario? I think it’s very possible.
Is AI Part of End Times Events?
The Bible tells us the Antichrist will erect an image of himself and demand worship—and that the image will somehow appear animated or alive: “And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed” (Revelation 13:14–15).
Not too long ago, this was hard to fathom. It all sounded so futuristic. But now with the advances in robot technology, AI technology, and more, what we read in Revelation doesn’t seem so far-fetched.
AI and Christianity: The Real Spiritual Danger
AI has become a part of our lives. In fact, Mark Zuckerberg said that artificial intelligence might be better than actually having real friends!
The word antichrist doesn’t only mean “against Christ.” It also means “instead of Christ.” And when we start looking to AI for wisdom, guidance, and even companionship—that is antichrist behavior, or “instead of Christ” behavior; you’re substituting God in your life with AI. Rather than looking to God’s Word, you’re looking to artificial intelligence.
While AI can be a great tool (I even use it), don’t let it take the place of God.
If we start looking to machines for what is right and wrong, good and evil, we’ve already stepped into deception. That’s the danger of the spirit of Antichrist or “instead of Christ” behavior.
God says to have no other gods before Him (see Exodus 20:3). Everything you need is found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Everything you need to know about God is found in the pages of the Bible. The Bible is the user’s manual of life. I urge you to open it.

Once again I will reference the story by Fredric Brown.
“Answer” is his 1954 ultra-short science fiction story by Fredric Brown.
A scientist, Dwar Ev, connected all of the 96 billion computers into one, then asks it:
“Is there a God?”
The machine responds, “Yes, now there is a God,” and creates a lightning bolt that fuses the switch, preventing shutdown.
“Is AI the Antichrist?”
No. It’s going to be what it’s called: an attempt to artificially approximate human intelligence.
And it’s not going to come very close.
I’m not going to sign in.
Does it direct to Scripture relevant to what one asks?
No, serious religious questions don’t arise from AI and the massive AI psyop.

God’s purposes-Each one of Us.
I have bneen saying this for at least 2 years now, as I watched its progression. The claims of it being smarter than a human are still lies though, but that narrative has been purposely pushed to make it possible to usher in AI as being the trusted one who is in reality the anti-chist.
AI and all modern society needs to uniquely identify each person. We need to identify if a person is lost or needs help knowing what is the approved right way.
So every person will have 3 small chips in their forhead to enable triangulation.

AI isn’t a ‘psyop’. It’s a technology that has already resulted in some very useful achievements, and will result in many more.
But a lot of the goals of some people working with it are pipe dreams.
Federico Faggin is one of my favorite thinkers on this. He’s a physicist, the inventor of the first commercial microprocessor, and has worked with neural nets.
He doesn’t believe that AI has any potential to experience and understand subjective human experience (’qualia’) and likes to say that Consciousness invented mathematics, but mathematics cannot comprehend Consciousness. (To play on the ‘turtles all the way down’ notion, it’s FIELDS, everywhere):

Something powerful is going to happen, where even believers will doubt.
It is also a psyop, sorry.
Look for the man who brings world peace, and there you will have your antichrist.
What’s the ‘psyop’ in aid of?
Those belonging to the American system of law and order will use AI to defeat the Marxist insurrectionist Confederacy.
Our getting glued ever more to our tech, trusting in “AI” to run things and our country going forward, letting them start to pitch an AI god, etc., etc.
