Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Agri-Business; End to Sex Slavery; Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Father, we are grateful for the honorable people You have given us in positions of authority in Washington, D.C. You told us that we will have persecutions in this life if we serve You. These men and women are suffering persecutions and we are here with You to lighten their burden by covering them in prayer. We lean on Is. 54:17 on their behalf: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. Truth always wins because Jesus is Truth. We ask You to confuse their enemies and let them stumble over their ungrounded attacks. Let the true facts be published from the housetops so that all the confused will hear and see. Holy Spirit, teach these servants to: “Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man.”
We continue to petition You to continue to pour out of Your Spirit on the citizens in our United States of America. Of course we want them Heaven bound, but we also want them to possess the mind of Christ. From Proverbs 1: AMPC, we ask that our people would know skillful and godly Wisdom and instruction, discern and comprehend the words of understanding and insight, Receive instruction in wise dealing and the discipline of wise thoughtfulness, righteousness, justice, and integrity, That prudence may be given to the simple, and knowledge, discretion, and discernment to the youth—The wise also will hear and increase in learning, and the person of understanding will acquire skill and attain to sound counsel [so that he may be able to steer his course rightly]—That people may understand a proverb and a figure of speech or an enigma with its interpretation, and the words of the wise and their dark sayings or riddles.”
We know this is all Your will and so we thank You for the answers in Jesus’ name. Amen.
