A Jewish lawyer was arrested in London for wearing a Star of David necklace, with police claiming it could “antagonize” protesters, sparking outrage and condemnation from Israeli officials.
Police officers from London's Metropolitan Police arrested a Jewish lawyer for openly wearing a Star of David necklace, alleging that doing so "antagonized" pro-Palestinian protesters, and that the symbol could "cause offense," British outlet The Telegraph reported on Saturday.
The lawyer claimed to the Telegraph that he was handcuffed and detained for almost 10 hours in an attempt to "criminalize the wearing of a Star of David."

He was arrested at 7 p.m. on August 29 at a pro-Palestine protest outside the Israeli embassy in London, and claims he was monitoring the event for unlawful behavior by the protesters, and to scrutinize the actions of the police officers at the scene.
The lawyer alleges that his hands were cuffed behind his back, before he was put in the back of a police vehicle, and held for questioning.
The Met denies that the arrest was due to the Star of David necklace, saying that the man was arrested after allegedly "repeatedly breaching" an order from officers to keep opposing protest groups separated, the Telegraph reported.
The lawyer claimed that he recorded up to 30 incidents of criminal behavior by the protesters, but insisted that none led to a conviction. He also claimed that he has been personally abused, including being called a "Zionist baby killer." "Police are arguing that wearing a Star of David is antagonising to protesters while we have seen all manner of antisemitic slogans on placards and shouted at Jews that have gone unpunished," he told the Telegraph, in what he referred to as one of the clearest examples of two-tier policing.
FM Sa'ar: 'This is a moral disgrace'
Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar denounced the alleged targeting of a Jewish lawyer for wearing a Star of David necklace as a "moral disgrace" in a post on X/Twitter on Saturday.
"The Star of David is a symbol of Jewish identity, not provocation. The fact that Jews are warned in central London not to display it publicly shows how rampant antisemitism spread through hateful “pro-Palestinian” marches in Britain has poisoned the streets," he added.

I was playing around with AI and using non-specific phrases to describe Britain (so as to not bias the algorithm). Phrases such as “1,000 year old country”, “old religion”, “new religion”.
In a nutshell AI said the country would devolve into civil war within a short amount of time.
There’s a high probability that we will witness the end of Great Britain in our lifetimes.
BTW…AI says the government is aware of this and is desperately trying to maintain authority through censorship and unequal application of the law.

Things are going to get rocky one way or another.

There’s a YouTube video of a Muslim protest march on a London street. A Jewish man (wearing a kippah) happened to be standing on the sidewalk.
He was approached by some British cops. To protect him? No. The cops told the Jewish man to leave the area because his presence might upset the Muslim marchers.

That says a lot about the known proclivities of the protesters. It's also interesting that the police aren't similarly concerned about rational people being "antagonized" by palestinian flags, etc. Their philosophy could be summarized by the famous quote "let the Wookiee win."

The UK has been playing this sort of game for a long time.
In the 1930s, the British Union of Fascists led by Sir Oswald Mosley was actually pretty popular. Mosley was a good speaker and attracted big crowds. British communists would show up and physically attack people in the crowd listening to Mosley. So the British government banned Mosley from speaking (he was too violent, you see).
This guy was not real bright, or did it on purpose, wearing a symbol like that at a pro-Palestine protest knowing there would be people that appose his ideology and could violently react. That would be just like attending a king’s day protest wearing a make American great hat in red inside or next to their protected border or wearing gang colors in Compton. Of course it is going to cause violence and force LE to do something. So what do they do? They either clean up the result of the violence or get rid of the source before it goes too far. I think he did it on purpose to get a violent result and could have gotten people killed or maimed.

No, things aren't suddenly great in the U.S. just because Trump is president. Trump might slow the decline. But our structural problems -- economic, demographic, cultural, spiritual -- are too deep to reverse.
