America Prayer Vigil - June 16, 2025 (Prayer)

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.

Romans 12:1-2 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Father,
Thank You for Your word and the great and precious promises it gives us. Thank You for all You teach us about Yourself through it.

As we see the world apparently falling apart, let us keep our eyes on You and Your word to have wisdom to discern the times and keep in the forefront of our minds that all we're seeing being played out on the world stage and the political arena is simply the physical manifestation of the spiritual battle raging around us.

Give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and minds and hearts to discern how to fight this spiritual battle around us. Give us Scripture to encourage us, and guide us in our prayers. Give us boldness and opportunity to witness to the unsaved.

Please protect Israel from its enemies who all consuming goal is to destroy it. Spare lives as this war goes on. Bring many people to You, both in Israel and muslim countries. Bring revival here in the US, too, as the fear and uncertainty grow.

Thank You that You are in control of everything and nothing surprises You.
