Kirk Cameron is joined by Pastor Jack Hibbs to discuss several key aspects of the 2024 election outcome that some may be overlooking. Don't miss this insightful episode of Takeaways with Kirk Cameron on TBN!
This is a 12 minute video
I’ll watch the video, but I have truly believed the election was a direct act of mercy by God Almighty who heard the cries of His people; a direct answer via II Chronicles 2:14. What joy I felt on November 5 because I knew God had responded in mercy.
Sensing God may be preparing to move, I had a lot of quiet hope after the first attempt on Trump’s life.
That’s the gist of the video as well.
a good summary that puts it in perspective
thanks for posting
Cool. One thing I’ll add was that I wonder if God allowed the first assassination attempt to be His unmistakable visual, a literal miracle, to demonstrate 1) He is in control of all things and, 2) whatever awaits us we have nothing to fear He is concerned for us.
I do think a lot of people were quietly suffering under the weight of all the unbridled evil and unchecked corruption manifesting in our country and around the world and He spoke to that. November 5th brought me to a new level of joy, not in circumstances, but in Him.
This is where I diverge from this person. The Lord used his mercy, but he did so in part because enough have turned to him for his mercy. He has answered those who sought his help. Those like me, have been convinced for more than 8 years that the Lord is real, and he is also alive & well. For those still not seeing this, one has to wonder what it will take for them to see the reality concerning the creator and that his existence is for eternity.
I have no doubt about that.
Amen!

In the first part of Romans Got expresses a lot of patience for us sinners.
Then in Rom 2:4 —
English Standard Version
Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?
I suggest that the upbeat feeling of many, after Trump’s election, will give people a chance to feel this goodness (which is from God, not Trump of course), and be led to repentance as anti-Christian oppression is reduced.
True, but but the Lord's chosen tool was Trump for a reason, so we cannot overlook Trump either. For to be chosen by the Lord to be his ambassadorial tool, says volumes as well. Nor does it not beg the question I had posed. What does it take for these people to see the truth for themselves? 🙂👍
Since we are all sinners, of course our repentance is necessary & important, but even more important is our undoubting belief. For then we will fear nothing as the Lord himself will be with us.
This short video is worth a ping to the Mother-of-all-Ping Lists.
So is the Freepathon, it’s kinda why we can even be here. If you’ve not donated lately please go here. https://freerepublic.com/focus/news/4283285/posts
Prayers up for the peace of Jerusalem, the Mideast, those wrongfully imprisoned and for every American here and abroad.
Prayers up for safe travels and success from God’s hand on President-Elect Trump’s every move.

I’m sending $25 because I promised I would last month...lol. I expected things to get better!
If I can, You can! I have no heat, no water. The government is taking part of my social security checks every month because I got emergency catastrophe funds after being burned out and losing everything.
So contribute please!
Amen
Kirk Cameron goes into libraries, in defiance of drag queen story hours, to read upstanding books with redeeming values to children.
Indeed. Thank you!
This may seem a little odd in the placement, but in the past couple days I'd been reviewing the following passage (from some other direction, not on account of this thread/ topic).
In doing so, I saw the parallel wording/messaging. This section is way more literal and simple in meaning than it might appear, so I figured I'd post it here for future reference.
To paraphrase the sign at Lyon Estates:
Live in the revelation of tomorrow -- Today!
Ground-breaking this winter
Chapter 2
1 In the records it will be found that Jeremiah the prophet ordered the deportees to take some of the fire with them as indicated, 2 and that the prophet, in giving them the law, directed the deportees not to forget the commandments of the Lord or be led astray in their thoughts, when seeing the gold and silver idols and their adornments. 3 With other similar words he exhorted them that the law should not depart from their hearts.
4 [a]The same document also tells how the prophet, in virtue of an oracle, ordered that the tent and the ark should accompany him, and how he went to the very mountain that Moses climbed to behold God’s inheritance. 5 When Jeremiah arrived there, he found a chamber in a cave in which he put the tent, the ark, and the altar of incense; then he sealed the entrance. 6 Some of those who followed him came up intending to mark the path, but they could not find it. 7 When Jeremiah heard of this, he reproved them: “The place is to remain unknown until God gathers his people together again and shows them mercy. 8 Then the Lord will disclose these things, and the glory of the Lord and the cloud will be seen, just as they appeared in the time of Moses and of Solomon when he prayed that the place[b] might be greatly sanctified.”
9 It is also related how Solomon in his wisdom offered a sacrifice for the dedication and the completion of the temple..

"Many of the filming locations for the Back to the Future trilogy are privately owned and can only be viewed from a distance."
I echo your sentiments. That near-miss was just too coincidental, and I believed God did that as a sign. I was still worried about the steal and I never want to be too confident. Although we can take a deep breath, the fight is only starting and he is one man.
I love Pastor Jack. First saw him with Ed Hindson on the old King is Coming program. I now watch his preaching on Sunday’s via the net. He’s solid.
