We serve a mighty God.

Though the world is dark and great trouble is on the horizon,

we must remember we serve a mighty God who looks after his people.

Oh that we could see, like Elisha's servant, the army of angels around us.

Perhaps we spend too much time looking at the news, so our vision is distorted.

May we sacrifice our time to wait on you,

to learn how to hear your voice.

There was a time when I slacked off with my prayer life.

While I was lounging in front of the TV news, I briefly saw a giant angel in armor, like that of a Roman soldier, sitting on my porch.

The angel appeared disturbed, like I was wasting my time.

I then understood that prayer is mighty, much more than my mind could imagine.

Dear Lord Jesus, we pray for President Trump.

The schemes of many whom seem powerful our out to destroy him.

What are they to you, oh mighty God, creater of the universe.

We claim the precious and powerful blood of Jesus over this man, his family and his true supporters.

In Jesus Name we pray, Amen!
