“Pastor” Claims Jesus Would Support Killing Babies in Abortions
Life News ^ | September 20, 2024 | Justine Brook Murrary

A female “pastor” is going viral for rewriting the entire Christian religion to make it about…abortion.

During a sermon Rev. Rebecca Todd Peters dubs “Roe Sunday,” she made baby killing a religious holy act and insists if Jesus were alive, he would be a “clinic escort” who guides mothers to their abortion appointments.

That’s a very odd way of interpreting the Bible’s instruction to “Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter.” (Proverbs 24:11- 12)

Yet, this perverted “pastor” doubles down, stating “If Jesus were giving his sermon today, he might have also said, ‘blessed are those who end pregnancies…for they will be known for their loving kindness.”

Killing babies isn’t typically the first thing that comes to someone’s mind when they hear the words, “loving kindness.” In fact, the Bible states “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.” (Psalm 127:3-5a)

“He will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb,” it adds. (Luke 1:15)

Nevertheless, the “pastor” persisted in preaching that the “sacred” decisions to kill unborn babies “reflect the moral responsibility of reproductive power.”

At one point, this “Christian” even bragged about having two abortions.

Then she ironically accused actual Christians of “committing violence” “ in the name of Christianity,” because they’re against killing babies.

That’s pretty rich coming from someone who is lecturing the congregation that ripping unborn babies limb by limb out of a mother’s womb is “sacred” to Christianity.

I wonder how this thing would feel about her own abortion? I mean really pastor, isn’t it all relative? What’s the difference between your murder/abortion and that of an eight-month-old baby? It could simply be termed an “abortion in the 178th trimester” or however old you are.

“Just curious...would Jesus also support the death penalty?”

The Bible apparently supports capital punishment for murder.... which is usually what the death penalty is for.

“Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man his blood shall be shed, for in the image of God He made man (Gen 9:6).”

What if Joseph had the option on finding his young wife to be pregnant, by this reasoning, instead of “being minded to put her away privily,” had urged her to have an abortion? After all , it was a scandal that followed Jesus and no doubt Mary and Joseph throughout their lives, as the Pharisees taunted him, “we be not born of fornication” Jn. 8:41.

I truly believe... that there is a “”special”” place in Hell for cretins such as this.

He never came out AGAINST it (the Israelites stoned people to death back then), but a lot was said about the shedding of “innocent blood”!

Clearly, those who sin knowingly, like most adults could be stoned to death, but when it comes to children He saw them as innocent.

And, those who harmed them should be dumped into the sea with an anchor chained to their neck.

Yes I’ve seen pictures of her wearing it. This is not the first time I’ve posted about this woman. In fact this might be the 5th but I’m not sure. There are several pastors out there like her and she keeps showing up like a bad penny.

There are all sorts of things that Jesus didn’t say anything about.

That may be true, but I’m working under the assumption that He agrees with the Law.

I’m pro life because of the Catholic Church and the Virgin Mary. All the beautiful artwork of Mary holding Baby Jesus. One stares at that artwork and has to think “if Mary had had an abortion we would all be screwed”.

Behold the handmaid of the Lord,
Be it done unto me according to your Word.

She will be judged harshly. The worst part is she is leading her congregation to Hell.

Well, my personal belief is that given the context of the general philosophy Jesus espoused, he would probably personally oppose the death penalty; and He would certainly not ‘love’ abortion.

My point is that He never addressed either. But we constantly see people asserting that Jesus would do this or that with regard to some issue of which He was never recorded as expressing an opinion at all. (I think some are prone to using Jesus to validate their own beliefs - and that’s true of the left as well as the right.)

Leading people astray, in the most egregious manner.

She’s in for a world of hurt, when her time on this earth ends.

That’s my assumption as well.It seems to me that God’s attitude would be something along the lines of “Only I have the authority to decide when one of My children dies”.

Romans 13:4: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

Well, as I indicated, I’m interested in what Jesus actually said Himself.

“John 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

Jesus tells the apostles the night he was betrayed that he had a lot more to teach them and he would by the Holy Spirit. These teachings were to be of equal authority with the “red letters.”
