I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Fearing any human being is a trap, but confiding in the Lord keeps anyone safe.
Many seek a ruler’s favor, but justice for a man comes from the Lord. Proverbs 29:25-26
OH Dear LORD, what web and trap this election has become in the hearts and minds of many Americans. People wringing their hands in fear of just what the outcome will be and how we will either triumph or fall. How easily we forget that these people are just mere mortals, who are here one day and can be gone the next. Who, when their spirits depart, on that “very day”, their plans come to nothing. LORD, if it be YOUR WILL, either difficulty will come, or blessings will be forwarded, but either way, justice for a man comes from the LORD. The LORD, who remains faithful forever, has plans, purposes, power, and a future and a hope for those who put their TRUST IN HIM.
Of course we want to see America succeed, and become great again. But we must remember and we must proclaim: “Blessed be the Name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him. He changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and establishes them . . . God’s dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation. All the peoples of the earth are counted as nothing, and He does as He pleases with the army of heaven and the peoples of the earth. There is no one who can restrain His hand or say to Him, ‘What have You done?’ . . . Praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, for all His works are true and all His ways are just. And He is able to humble those who walk in pride.” (Dan. 2:20-21; Dan. 4:34-35, 37)
Therefore we take our wringing hands and lift them up high in praise, adoration and prayer, asking THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE on earth as it is in heaven. And come what may, let us: “Above all, fear the LORD and worship Him faithfully with all our heart; considering the great things He has done for us.” (1 Sam. 12:24)
In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

Psalm 4
To the leader: with stringed instruments. A Psalm of David.
1 Answer me when I call, O God of my right!
You gave me room when I was in distress.
Be gracious to me, and hear my prayer.
2 How long, you people, shall my honour suffer shame?
How long will you love vain words, and seek after lies?
Selah
3 But know that the Lord has set apart the faithful for himself;
the Lord hears when I call to him.
4 When you are disturbed,* do not sin;
ponder it on your beds, and be silent.
Selah
5 Offer right sacrifices,
and put your trust in the Lord.
6 There are many who say, ‘O that we might see some good!
Let the light of your face shine on us, O Lord!’
7 You have put gladness in my heart
more than when their grain and wine abound.
8 I will both lie down and sleep in peace;
for you alone, O Lord, make me lie down in safety.
Amen
Please dear Lord, let Your kingdom come and Your will be done! Amen

Praises to the LORD.
