The Majesty of the Lord

Dear Lord Jesus we come to you today to pray for our nation. After reading Spirited Irish's post yesterday explaining the stupor of our nation and reiterating the necessity of the battle of spiritual warfare I asked you to give me something. So I dreamt of a theft that was noticed but everyone was reluctant to get involved, finally some did and a policeman came but he was going to let the theif get away, I stopped the thief from leaving and then was threatened by the policeman. When I awoke, I then thought of what the condition of the nation of Israel at the time of Jesus, being subject to a foreign dictator. So to now, America seems to have been taken over by a foreign entity, and we don't recognize it. Yet there is a remnant that does, just like in the time of Jesus on earth. Lord, you tell us to pray for our nation and leaders, and we do. Certainly there is responsibility for spiritual warfare, but the results of how you handle a nation we must accept, for you know what is best. I am encouraged by what happened in El Salvador when a godly leadership came. So to, we pray for that now.

Lord Jesus, we lift up Donald Trump and his staff. Lord I believe your hand protected him from death. Lord I pray that he will listen to you and be obedient to your voice. I pray that you would surround him with godly advisors and the previous infiltration of spoilers would be removed.

Lord Jesus we also lift up those unjustly imprisoned, political prisoners, we pray for justice and vindication.

Lord Jesus we pray for wisdom in these various worldy conflicts we have as a nation become involved with, let not the wicked have their way.

Lord Jesus, we pray for your church, your people in America. We thank you that we are seeing some glimmers of revival in even dark places like Portland Oregon.

In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
