I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

The Lord is righteous in all His ways,
Gracious in all His works.
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He also will hear their cry and save them.
The Lord preserves all who love Him,
But all the wicked He will destroy.
Psalm 145: 17-20

Lord God,

May our mouths speak Your praise this day and may all flesh bless Your Holy Name forever and ever. May all Your works praise You, Lord, and all Your saints bless You. You are good to all and Your tender mercies are over all Your works. Thank You for being near to us now as we call upon You in truth.

Lord, how blessed we are to live in America. Thank You, Father, for guiding this nation from its birth. Now, even as we walk in the midst of darkness, may Your hand be near that we may grasp ahold of You and find our way back to being the country You have called us to be. Help each of us to do our part by affecting our own sphere of influence in a way that helps others draw close to You.

We again give You thanks for sparing the life of former President Trump. May that same hand of protection follow him all his days and may he fulfill every purpose You have for his life. Help him to love you more each day and may he always seek Your wisdom in every decision he makes. Lord, we pray also for J.D. Vance as he endures the criticism of the left for his stance against abortion. Help him to be unwavering in his love for You and his testimony of Your goodness.

Thank You for the return of the American prisoners. We give You all the glory, dear Lord as we rejoice in Your goodness and compassion. We pray also for the release of Marc Fogel who was left behind in the prisoner swap. Please surround him with Your comfort and peace.

Lord, help us to rejoice in our Maker, to praise Your Name, and to bless You, at all times. May Your praise be forever in our mouths. For only You are worthy of all honor, glory, praise, and blessing. In the Name of Jesus we pray, Amen
