Thank you, LORD, for giving my sister, brother, and me a godly Mother.
God of grace and God of glory,
O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of His praise to be heard. For You alone are worthy of all glory, honor, praise, and blessing. This is the day that You have made, Lord, and we ask that You help each of us to glorify Your Name in all that we say and do today.
Father, today we honor our mothers, remembering the sacrificial love they have shown us. For those fortunate enough to have had a mother who taught them of You, may there be rich fruit that abounds in the seeds of faith that were planted. Lord, we pray for more and more women who will open their mouths with wisdom and who will allow only the law of kindness to be upon their lips. Bless the mothers who are fighting against all manner of cultural rot so that they may protect their children from being led astray by the subtle and blatant lies of the enemy. Bless the mothers who watch over the ways of their household and who set an example of respect toward their husband. We pray for encouragement this day for all the women who demonstrate a healthy fear of the Lord, using every opportunity to direct their children back to the Word for guidance in handling all things. Today we ask for Your blessed comfort for all mothers who have lost their children, and all children who have lost their mothers. God of all comfort, may the peace that passes all understanding guard their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, whose tremendous example of love endures for all generations.
Mighty God, may there be peace in the walls of Jerusalem. May those in this nation who understand Your truths arise, that the enemies of Israel and America may be scattered. Help us to pray for Your people. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel. Help our nation to stand strong and not be silent as we defend Your beloved in their time of need.
Creator God, we bless You this day as we pray together across this nation. May our prayers rise up as incense before You---a sweet smelling fragrance from those who call You Lord. For Your glory, Mighty King, and for the sake of our Precious Savior, in Whose Name we pray.. Amen.
