Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Holy God,
We treasure this promise from Your Word, Lord. In these days of turmoil, rapid change, strife, and uncertainty, we look to You for mercy and shelter from the cultural and spiritual decline of our nation. And we thank You, Lord, that Your Word tells us that Your mercy is upon us, our children, and our grandchildren as we walk in obedience to You. Such knowledge is too wonderful to imagine, but we know that it is true. Even as we realize what a mess our grandchildren will inherit, yet we have the promise that You will show them mercy and help them even long after we have passed away. Father, the depth of Your love for us knows no bounds. We serve a mighty and awesome God.
Thank You, Lord, for caring for the children of our military men and women. Send people to help out the wives and husbands who wait for their loved ones to return home. Give aid and comfort to the children, Lord, who miss their mother or father. Grant each family a happy reunion at the appointed time.
We ask for Your grace and mercy to be showered upon former President Trump as he continues to be persecuted by those who hate him and who wish to eliminate his opportunities to run for the presidency again. Thank You for providing for him and for helping him with every battle. We confess that You will avenge him and will shower him with wisdom and understanding.
Father, may Your mercies and grace also be shown toward Israel as You continue to protect and defend her. We pray that the Gospel would be shared and accepted by all people there and that the leaders of Israel will use the authority You have given them to stand strong for their nation. We are confident in what Your Word says: that those who bless Israel will be blessed.
Forgive our nation, Lord, for our miserable slide away from You. We are struggling and are in desperate need of repentance. Help us, Lord, to receive the truth of Your Word. Give us the desire to return to the center of Your will.
Father, may You be glorified in the lives of those who love You. We bless You, Lord, and we forget not all Your benefits. In the powerful Name of Jesus Christ, our Blessed Redeemer. Amen.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!

Psalm 36
To the leader. Of David, the servant of the Lord.
1 Transgression speaks to the wicked
deep in their hearts;
there is no fear of God
before their eyes.
2 For they flatter themselves in their own eyes
that their iniquity cannot be found out and hated.
3 The words of their mouths are mischief and deceit;
they have ceased to act wisely and do good.
4 They plot mischief while on their beds;
they are set on a way that is not good;
they do not reject evil.
5 Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the clouds.
6 Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,
your judgements are like the great deep;
you save humans and animals alike, O Lord.
7 How precious is your steadfast love, O God!
All people may take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
8 They feast on the abundance of your house,
and you give them drink from the river of your delights.
9 For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light we see light.
10 O continue your steadfast love to those who know you,
and your salvation to the upright of heart!
11 Do not let the foot of the arrogant tread on me,
or the hand of the wicked drive me away.
12 There the evildoers lie prostrate;
they are thrust down, unable to rise.
Psalm 36 is an amazing Psalm, isn’t it-—the contrast between the darkness of evil and the righteousness and grace of God. How blessed we are to know Him.
Amen to your Beautiful, Powerful Prayer, Dear Servant of Jesus Christ.
Joining you in Thanksgiving, Prayer, and Praise.
