Furries are weird, I don’t care about Disney World(Goofy and such), let the parents take them to Orlando, but not in schools.
Spay and neuter before release into the wild ?
“Representative Justin Humphrey has filed an Oklahoma bill that would ban “furries” from attending school and would require either a guardian or “animal control” to pick them up if they violate the rule. “
Glad to see Representative Humphrey focusing on this important issue.
LOLOL...that is terrific! What a great law! Maybe a half-day in a cramped kennel with the real dogs would straighten them out.
Go after their parents and anyone else enabling them.
If a “trans woman” is to be regarded as a “real” woman, with penalties for “misgendering, then Furries should be regarded as animals.
[[“Students who purport to be an imaginary animal or animal species, or who engage in anthropomorphic behavior commonly referred to as furries at school shall not be allowed to participate in school curriculum or activities]]
Sounds sensible to me- if the kids wanna act like morons after school- fine- whatever- as long as it doesn’t impact others negatively- but in school- they can get with the curriculum and act like normal humans- or spend their time in a mental ward if they can’t hack it- because it’s obvious something is wrong with them mentally
somebody forgot to mention that “furries” also enjoy pro-creation activities while suited up!!
Does anyone know if Humphrey is serious or is he using this as a bit of political theater to ridicule the massive game of pretend gender going on.
I couldn’t go to public schools today. I’m allergic to cats 🐈⬛!
Mary had a little lamb,
Its fleece was white as snow,
Everywhere Mary went,
The lamb was sure to go.
It followed her to school one day,
Which was against the rule;
It made the children laugh and play,
To see a lamb at school.
And so the teacher turned it out,
But still it lingered near;
And waited patiently about
Till Mary did appear
“What makes the lamb love Mary so?”
The eager children cry;
“Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know,”
The teacher did reply.
Sorry, that was the first thing that came to mind when I saw this article.
I posted this story a day or so ago just to be humorous.
Sounds like a good move to me.
Schools used to have dress codes, to provide equality among the students, allow students to focus, and prevent asinine distractions like “furries.”
What is the difference between a human student “identifying” as a wolf and a boy “identifying” as a girl? It’s all a big LARP. Just call it “species dysphoria.”
Great idea.
The animal control office who removes the kid from school and takes the kid to the dog pound will end up in prison, and the kid’s family will sue and become millionaires.
First time I ever heard of furries was maybe 20 years ago. They were part of the plot of a CSI episode. I remember the crew going to a furry gathering and William Petersen’s character being fascinated with them.
There are at least 4-6 furries in our area. The parents are threatening legal action if their children aren’t accepted as cats.
Unbelievable. This is the second or third year for this crazy phenomenon.
I agree that this is dumb, but have you ever encountered one of these crazies?
They wander around in their stupid costumes, saying nothing, expecting some reaction from normal people.
Why is this a federal matter?
When I first read the title I thought this was being filed in the Oklahoma legislature not the US House. It would be appropriate in the state legislature since the state has direct jurisdiction over education.
