When modern pagan materialists speak frankly, they not only confess their fear and hatred of the Triune God but admit that their so-called ‘scientific theories’…the products of their darkened imaginations…are foolishness:
“…one belief that all true original Darwinians held in common, and that was their rejection of creationism, their rejection of special creation. This was the flag around which they assembled and under which they marched…. The conviction that the diversity of the natural world was the result of natural processes and not the work of God was the idea that brought all the so-called Darwinians together in spite of their disagreements on other of Darwin’s theories. (One Long Argument,1991, p. 99, Ernst Mayr, 1904–2005, Professor of Zoology at Harvard University)

Yes--that's pretty much the whole nature of evolution, is it not?
Derivatives of domesticated animals and their wild relatives.
Do dogs, wolves and dingos count? If Moses only put two of each kind of animal on the Ark, some 5000 years ago, and the flood was global, how do you explain all the varieties of canid including the ones only found in the far north and south, with lineages that can be traced back thousands of years, and yet which appear almost indistinguishable at a genetic level?
A dog is not a wolf. A wolf is not a dog. They are closely related though.

So when did the domesticated canine stop being a wolf? Did humans do that, or did God?
If you’re asking for proof on the level of, grass snakes could’ve directly evolved into tree frogs or dogs evolved into cats, then obviously there isn’t any. But nobody on the pro evolution side is claiming that happened.
What they’re saying is ancient moths probably evolved into other species of moth, and eventually a moth could’ve evolved that was so different to its genetic ancestor that it needs a name that is not a moth.
I will return to the Jesus versus Moses issue:
The evidence for the historical Jesus is now overwhelming. Manuscripts, including fragments, numbering in the tens of thousand trace back to the first century. To be sure, what we have in terms of a complete Bible (or, Codex) is a copy of a copy of a copy, but we have (individually-incomplete) manuscripts that are pretty close to the original.
Plus, the story of Jesus and the early church as told in the Gospels, Acts and the Epistles is validated by history and archeology in many date, places and persons (and not contradicted in any place).
Turning to Moses, we’re talking of approx. 1500 BC. The oldest manuscript evidence (the Dead Sea scrolls) validate that the Jewish scriptures were faithfully reproduced since the first century BC or thereabouts to the present. But, the Dead Sea scrolls leaves the time from Moses to Christ unaccounted. And, there is little hope for discovery of yet older manuscripts.
What we have to validate the Old Testament can be summarized as two types: (1) archeology and (2) science. Dozens of dates, places and persons mentioned in the Old Testament have been validated by archeology; e.g., inscriptions on statues. And, the history of the cosmos and life on earth accords well with the stories found in Genesis and also in Job.
No religion other than Judaism teaches that time, space, matter and energy begin in a singular event that we call the Big Bang; or, that we live in an expanding universe; or, that the earth is a ball suspended in space. The more that we study the cosmos the more amazing is the adherence of the Bible story with science. Well, if you read the Bible story with an open mind, as opposed to thinking that we always knew what the words mean. We couldn’t possibly have known what the words mean until recently. And, this is a proof that whoever wrote the Old Testament had to be inspired by God.
As to evolution, it was a Muslim scholar, Ibn Kaldun, who noticed that the Bible’s story is one of evolution. God, he said, could easily have made man out of nothing; but, instead he made out of the soil of the earth. The key to evolution is that God intervened in history and breathed his spirit into us.
And he does that with each human child. We are, each one of us, miracles.
Praise be to God!
It would have been enough for him to reveal himself through the beauty of his creation, but instead he revealed himself through the special revelation of the Bible.
It would have been enough for us to rely on his nature as a loving God to know that all we need to do is ask him for mercy, but instead he sent us his son, Jesus, the Messiah, so that we could be assured of salvation.
Blessed are those who, living in these times, have the evidence of the validity of the Bible, and believe. More blessed are those who, coming before us who, without the evidence we have, believed.
Might one ask, why did cheek teeth and jaws have to get larger and more massive respectively before they later get smaller and less massive?
I know my Redeemer lives. I’ll stick with Him.
There most certainly is evidence for evolution. Nothing for one species slowly becoming another, however.
Dogs were bred from grey wolves.
They never strayed genetically so as to become a cognizably different species, such as, different from the grey wolf to the extent the mountain lion is different from a grey wolf—meaning, at the genetic level, breaking away from its old kind into a new kind.
FBC—Forever Busting Catholics.
The Bible was written by man. The belief is that Moses wrote the Old Testament while the Disciples wrote the New. We know for sure that the Disciples had direct contact with Jesus; and, it can be assumed that Moses had Divine Guidance.
Look in the front of your Bible. There is a copyright notice in there that holds "all rights reserved". That notice doesn't mention God.
Actually it doesn't. I believe that a Creator Who can design and make self-correcting and adapting organisms to be pretty impressive.
Adaptation into a different color isn’t the same as evolution into a different, more advanced species, per Darwin. Perhaps I should have clarified that I do believe in adaptation.
Remember what Willie sang? Remember that it had to do with flying nuns, because
>>>
* Now for those who do not understand what a reversed nun is, Willie Nelson already explained it, but you'll have to make it to the end of his song, which is about change.(Oh I forgot -- you don't think I'm funny anymore.)

(It's those 85 letters -- no wonder they qualified as their own book.)
"You can thank me by not getting caught." ~ Mr. B
Did you hear the one about the...?
She was right there at the beginning, at "38". A heart of gold, really:
"Breaker 1-9 Breaker 1-9. This is the Bandit. I'm looking for a westbounder on Highway 85. I need a smoky report and I need it bad, Son."
-- "This is Foxy Lady Bandit. We heard you were coming by..."
The "law" should have known better than to mess with the Bandit. The Bandit driving a Trans-Am, no less:
Exodus 19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
Am I up 288 yet? It's so hard to find good help these days. Few appear interested in picking up the mess. 52! Who hasn't ben there?!
"This is not a convoy. This is a dream."
(Like I had explained in that same post 85 linked above, the Torah is the ultimate Country song. All about those trucks. Even or especially in Alabama.)
Hey Doc, We'd better back up. We don't have enough road to get up 288.
Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads.
"So How Will They Believe Jesus’ Words?"
Come on, it's not like he disintegrated Einstein.
The color change was originally a mutation. If we hadn’t had smoggy Manchester, it might’ve been an evolutionary dead end.
So, perhaps God intervened, to steer the mutation. It certainly happened at a very convenient time for the moth.
There have been proposals that all the “JUNK” DNA may be an incredible backup system.
“There was evening and there was morning - the first day”
So, no.
Additionally, no matter how much evolutionists squawk, there are no fossils of “in between” anything.
I have no evidence that you breathe yet it’s a logical conclusion.
The Bible is utterly silent about gravity yet it exists anyway.
All that matters to me is that God created everything. How He did it is His business.
Thank you Angelino97
“In the beginning the universe was void and without form”
What’s interesting is the universe “was”
Strongs concordance
H1961
היה
הָיָה hâyâh
haw-yaw‘
A primitive root (compare 1933 ; to exist, that is, be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary): - beacon, X altogether, be (-come, accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), continue, do, faint, fall, + follow, happen, X have, last, pertain, quit (one-) self, require, X use.
If earth “became” void that’s in perfect context with how we scientifically and geologically have figured the universe to molded itself in its present form.
The age of Earth which some figure it to be 4.5 billion years old.
And the estimate is 13.8 billion for the universe.
“Void”
H922
בּהוּ
בּוֹהוּ bôhû
bo‘-hoo
From an unused root (meaning to be empty); a vacuity, that is, (superficially) an undistinguishable ruin: - emptiness, void.
There was one other time that Hebrew word Strong’s H922 is used which strengthens the definition:
Jer 4:23 - I looked at the earth, and it was formless and empty; and at the heavens, and their light was gone.
Many interpret that as God (ELOHIM) created heavens and earth, and then the Earth was destroyed after it was created.
What does that mean? Cataclysmic events, Extinction events, volcanic activity, earthquakes, asteroids... at least 5 ice ages, and about 11 mass extinctions. Magnetic shifts...
Then geologically look at the existence of lead: the half life of uranium-238 is 4.5 billion years old. It decays into radium-236, which in turn decays into radon-222. radon-222 becomes polonium-210 which finally decays into a stable nuclid, lead
That entire process takes much more 5,000 years to accomplish.
Do I believe in the ELOHIM as the Creator? Of course I do and this universal creation is complex, time consuming and very exacting beyond what we will ever imagine.
I am amazed that many religionists out today are sticking to the 5,000-year permutation, calling everybody else blasphemers! That’s inconceivable to my mind with all the information that God has allowed us to observe and to reason through. The rocks are crying out and showing the full Glory and complexity of the creation. God did not wave a magic wand and click His heels 3x, He spoke and the process began...
Take the pre trib Rapture Theory, Jesus told us what was going to happen in the end times (it’s in “red letters”) in the New Testament, it’s not some convoluted cherry picking all over scriptures to explain some pre-tribulation taking up into the sky. Jesus said it! And He was very direct about it (the wheat and the tares).
I’ve had several conversations with people that believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, and when I showed them in scriptures containing Jesus’ insight that He gave to His apostles... and their Dogma kicked in and they called me anti-Pauline. Wow!
It’s all in the Book, sometimes you have to dig and explore the language, and oftentimes you have to observe what’s going on in nature and in the world to fully understand the context and the exactness of the Word.
God is Good, all the time!
The Bible was written by man. The belief is that Moses wrote the Old Testament while the Disciples wrote the New.
Contrast that with God’s Word being authored by God. Wrote and authored give different flavor and perspective. I note you did not use the word authored.
When you believe God’s word is a personal letter to you then things change. It means God is a living God.
The basic philosophical questions we all ask are who is God and what does he want? Why do we ask those questions?
God’s Word does answer those questions. What does he want? A relationship with us. Why? I don’t know. But remember He defines the relationship, we do not.
Note I use God’s Word with intent, not the word BIBLE although that is not a bad word if you have correct understanding.
Ears to hear.
Reality neither seeks nor needs your agreement. I am completely content for you to be burdened by unresolved ignorance so long as you live.
ERV evidence are not about genetic structures. Read up before you attempt to comment.
What is Time to God? How would he explain his actions to a Shepard in the Desert?
"Yom"...Hebrew "Day", can also refer to an indeterminate period of time so in the initial "Form" creation account you could consider that he had 6 periods of creative activity.
