Evolutionary Theists Do Not Believe Moses, So How Will They Believe Jesus’ Words?

When modern pagan materialists speak frankly, they not only confess their fear and hatred of the Triune God but admit that their so-called ‘scientific theories’…the products of their darkened imaginations…are foolishness:

“…one belief that all true original Darwinians held in common, and that was their rejection of creationism, their rejection of special creation. This was the flag around which they assembled and under which they marched…. The conviction that the diversity of the natural world was the result of natural processes and not the work of God was the idea that brought all the so-called Darwinians together in spite of their disagreements on other of Darwin’s theories. (One Long Argument,1991, p. 99, Ernst Mayr, 1904–2005, Professor of Zoology at Harvard University)

The discovery of epigenetics, gene silencing, duons, ultrastructure of the genome, transposons, retrotransposins, oncogenes, exons, introns, promotor genes, coding genetic areas (formerly known as “junk DNA” has pretty much destroyed the simplistic concept of the genome being a relatively static complex double helical arrangement of genetic information. Not sure if two organism sharing a similar genetic structure is indicative of common ancestry. It could be that in order to survive, each organism needs that structure. After all, genes from plants, bacteria, viruses can invade and settle into the human genome, which really mucks up the picture. IMHO.

Thank-you for your astute comments that on one hand, throw evolutionary thinking down, while on the other defend the Genesis account. We need many more defenders.

You’ve adduced no such evidence.

No evidence of a transitional organism as between two different established species.

Actually, evolution (well, natural selection) has been observed in living memory.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peppered_moth_evolution

The Industrial Revolution in northern England created smog. Moths whose colors camouflaged them better, survived longer. Over time, the moth population became smoggy.

The color change was originally a mutation. If we hadn’t had smoggy Manchester, it might’ve been an evolutionary dead end.

So, perhaps God intervened, to steer the mutation. It certainly happened at a very convenient time for the moth.

A moth, is a moth, is still, a moth, and will always be, a moth.

Cite the long-sought example of one species or kind (e.g., moth) morphing over time onto a new and different species or kind (i.e., non-moth).

Death before the fall of man? Genealogy of Adam much short than human “history” as Ardipithicines, etc.?

But more so your last point. It is a twisted use of what that verse actually states. This comes from 2 Peter 3. I would encourage you to read the full chapter, as it is a startling warning upon the same thing you use it towards... There is consensus among evolutionist that a worldwide flood never occurred. This chapter states it did happen and that near the end times people would deny it. God is clearly stating in this chapter that even though man intentionally forgets the past, He does not. He can remember 1000 years as clearly as we can remember yesterday.

ERVs conclusively demonstrate that humans and chimps had a common ancestor that was neither human nor chimp

The people who declare that as true are the ones who know they live but cannot account for life; know they are conscious, but cannot account for consciousness.

They are like Marx, who conducted a logical deductive reasoning process in defense of his pagan materialist view only to discover that philosophical materialism cannot account for the breath of life. So because he hated the Creator God he told his followers to brutally scoff, mock, and ridicule defenders of God and Genesis 1-11 until they feared to open their mouths in defense of creation ex nihilo. And to this day they still resort to this tactic.

Unless you’ve got a way to completely deny genetics as it’s been developed over the past 75 years.

Any science of genetics that claims that all life evolved from a common source is not true science but a fraud pretending to be science in order to deceive the gullible.

You will never be happy. No matter how close two organisms are you will always demand something “between” them, so stop with the dishonest argument.

And God said, "Let there be light." -- The Big Bang.

I wonder if this thread is going to... devolve.

That would be a shame, because everyone ought to know already that the Big Bang is real, being the dramatic conclusion to Caddyshack, even as the name of the song.

"Hey Judge! Double or nothing he makes it. 80,000."

(Fore!)

That's not only the ratio of the volume of the Ark of Noah to the Ark of the Covenant, it's the general rounded number for the number of words in the Torah, like the 2000 years since the time of Christ, or the destruction of the Temple, or the distance to keep back from the Ark (Jos 3:4).

(300 x 50 x 30) / (2.5 x 1.5 x 1.5) = 450,000/ (45/8) = 450,000 x (8/45) = 80,000

A few years earlier, everyone learned that a new Peterbilt cost $80,000. So, with enough motivation, "We're gonna do what they say can't be done."

Now because I'm simply motivated by all the more insight, some years back I observed that the letters of a very famous phrase in the Psalms set up as that same ratio, in a plain-wording kind of way, with the pattern for doing that inspired by the dimensions themselves. Guess it'll have to be a surprise.

Meanwhile, everyone knows what'll happen if they dare peek into the Ark:

Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light:

Who invited that kid?

Actually, the second gift made perfect sense, because if you'll recall, sleep is 1/60 of death, and dreams are 1/60 of prophecy; i.e. small samples of.

ARMY INTEL:

"Mom has pulled a surprise present from the closet"

Anyone notice the two Sabras on the bedskirt? They appear toward the end, at the place where Woody reassures everyone that "Hey, what did I tell you earlier, no one is getting replaced."

"What is it."

Still Not Dead (Official Video):

"Last night I had a dream that I died twice yesterday, but I woke up still not dead again today."

Thanks, Willie!

(Fore!)

That's not only the ratio of the volume of the Ark of Noah to the Ark of the Covenant, it's the general rounded number for the number of words in the Torah:

"I love you too."

(Forewarned is forearmed.)

At the top of the article page (it all went downhill fast from there):

"And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself." Luke 24:27

No there was never a “worldwide” flood BUT if there was a local flood then to the writers of that region it would have been their “world” that was flooded

I actually laughed at this example. Have you ever studied whale evolutionary history? It is honestly THE WORST example you could have given. They go from aquatic to terrestrial and back to aquatic in, if I recall correctly, 10 million years or so.

Meanwhile, we have fossil jellyfish from 500 million, horseshoe crabs from 440m, coelacanth from 400m, and crocodiles from 250m.... and yet, not much if any change?

Those forces still haven’t stopped many, many scientists from signing the declaration of dissent regarding Darwin’s(Wallace’s) theories being able to account for the origin of life and its variations.

Darwin received his theory from his pagan grandfather. His grandfather in turn received it from Atomists, and other evolutionary thinkers stretching back to the plains of Shinar, many of whom believed their ancestors were snakes, turtles, bears, and other creatures.

Now Wallace was a practicing spiritist. One night when he was out of his mind with fever, lo and behold, Darwin's theory was dropped into his mind. Who dropped it into his mind? A demon.

The former god-man Rabindranath Maharaj, who gave up his god-man status for Jesus Christ, knows all about fallen powers, who he worshipped as gods and goddesses at one time. During out-of-body experiences he stood before these terrifying gods and goddesses who taught reincarnation, evolution, karma, monism, and so on. Evolution is of demonic origin and Maharaj knows this.

Today, Maharaj defends Genesis 1-11. Read his book, Death of a Guru.

Thomas Aquinas and Augustine believed in evolution so that is good enough for me

It's a shame that you believe in men over God-inspired Scripture.

Agreed. It is pretty clear that there is some process that makes more complex life out of simpler life. If someone wants to call that process evolution, that is fine with me. Just don’t tell me with certainty, that you understand that process, because you don’t.

There is no beginning.

Hmmm. Given nothing, what is the probability of something?
