Who can dispense with the regulations of "Traditionis custodes"? Pope Francis makes it clear that only the liturgical dicastery can do so. With the new decree now published, the Vatican can reclaim many local special permissions for the Old Mass.
Pope Francis has determined that the dispensational power for Mass celebrations in the pre-conciliar form rests with the Apostolic See. A decree of the Pope published on Tuesday states that only the Vatican can grant dispensations for such Mass celebrations in parish churches or for the establishment of corresponding personal parishes.

Roche has issued his decree. Now let him enforce it.
If the Vatican gets what it is asking for, it will be boom times for the SSPX.
The majority of the world’s cardinals wanted this Pope.
Looking for a better church should have been on the plate, a long time ago.
Throw another tantrum you one lunged, marxist, atheist.
As long as you believe the eucharist becomes the flesh and blood of Jesus only if an "official" priest hands out the elements, then the RCC leaders have a control over you.
As long as you believe absolution from purgatory happens only at the blessing of an "official" priest, then the RCC leaders have a control over you.
If it wasn't for that, then most of the Catholic beliefs would be little different from beliefs of fellow Protestants I disagree with (i.e. I don't believe in Calvinism, nor that the initial evidence of Spirit baptism is speaking in tongues, or that the earth is only 6,000 years old, etc.). Hint: one of those is believed by my own pastor, but he doesn't make a big deal of it and has mentioned it only in passing twice maybe in 10 years. Evidently it's not a big deal with him either.
In many ways, the RCC belief that these things happen only with an "official" priest makes it a lot harder for the righteous Catholics to get the necessary reforms. In contrast, look at all of the Methodist churches that voted their local congregation away from the hedonist United Methodist conference. Their wayward leaders had little control over the good members, of which there were many (evidently). I hope the good Catholics can figure out a way to do the same.
Have you founded a better Church?
Where do I sign up?
BTW—how did you manage to do so?
All i see is a big white box with a little blue box in the centre that contains a white questionmark.
A question to Catholics. What would the Pope have to do for you to switch churches? Is there anything?
Time for a brand-spaking new denomination.
Why? Is there something wrong with the one that ConservativeMind founded?
If you start one, will you have donuts and coffee? How big is your living room?

Best solution? Ignore it. What one \pope has decreed, a future pope can wipe away. Francis has made this perfectly clear, if nothing else.
He can’t do anything other than be an occassion for a sin of despair or a sin of unbelief. God gives us the grace to resist temptations, but if we do not correspond to the grace, it’s on us.
That said, for those who do not know their right hand from their left (which would be more literally the hand they feed themselves with from the hand with which they wipe themselves), Whom am I to judge?
The walls of hell are lined with mitres (attributed to Chrysostom—the only episcopal quote of his that I have been able to verify is that the majority of Bishops go to hell-—in fairness to Bishops throughout history, the context was the beginning of the 5th century).
No need to change churches no matter what the pope does, even if he had participated in the Superbowl halftime show with a Lucifer suit (wouldn’t surprise me with this “pope”).
We know he’s an anti-pope, he’s not Catholic and he doesn’t share Catholic beliefs. So why would he cause us to change churches? Our faith and beliefs are unchanged. A bad pope was to be expected at this point (ref. St. Malachy — and possibly the last).
Except that popes are elected by the College of Cardinals, and Francis has been busy filling every new vacancy with gay-friendly Marxists.
Thanks.
I saw another story in the sidebar that was interesting.

Weird times. Does he think that he is a 15th century French King?
In fairness, not everything was perfect there (I had several chats a number of years ago with someone who had spent about 10 years with the community), but I cannot recall any instances in the past millenia or so where such a solution has solved problems. Admittedly, I may have missed something and do not know everything, but, to say the least, this is “unusual.”

At least the poutine should be good for those who want to chicken out from the rough ride in the barque of Peter.
