The fact that Israel is celebrating its 75th birthday this year is regarded by many people in the land as a miracle.
Is Israel’s existence really something supernatural? It is clear that miracles are a part of the biblical past, but in the political present they are either not recognized, or are ignored.
Some of the classic miracles in the Bible include the parting of the Red Sea, Balaam’s talking ass, the manna that fell from heaven, the sun standing still in the heavens, Jesus walking on the water and many other paranormal phenomena. It is often taken for granted that we understand these to be miracles, but it still depends on whether or not we believe the Bible. And even then, people often confuse miracles with magic tricks. Most people today simply use science as a crutch to dismiss miracles entirely.

Israel 75 years and counting is hardly a coincidence!
Maranatha!
I truly am sorry for people that cannot recognize miracles
They beat the British.
This is the valley of dry bones. The bodies are fleshed out and standing about as in the prophesy and they are, in many cases, still lacking the (spiritual) breath of life.
Israel is still at the center of prophetic fulfillment and at the Lord’s activity among men in time. This may be expressly for the benefit (all things work to the good of those who love the Lord) of those Israelites who will see Christ’s return, those who will be saved at His return, and who alone as a remnant of the families of man who will then be alive are given a promise that they will all be saved.
How come all the miracles seemed to happen back in the olden days??
Jonathan Cahn addresses the Jews return to Israel in his book The Oracle.
It’s a fascinating read and is well documented with actual historical fact. The Jews return to Israel is clearly the work of God. There could simply not be the level of coincidence involved in the timing of the historical events and people involved just as happenstance.
I suspect that we don’t recognize them. We explain them away too readily and intellectualize too much.
The Six Day War was a miracle. Gods intervention was at hand for it to end so quickly and decisively.
That I could believe...plus I knew some IDF para’s from back in the day...some tough gentlemen. Great guys...still have a standing invite to visit them. Wouldn’t mind a trip to Israel to check it out.
It is neither supernatural nor coincidence. It is God’s will along with man’s free will.
Ben Gurion with Herzl’s picture on the wall.
Well, truly. Like Joe Biden, one should never underestimate the ability of the Arabs to f*** things up,.
Many Brits were against the formation of Israel. Some saw it as the fulfillment of Biblical prophesy. Go figure.
Miracles all around us but we’ve become so sensitized we just come to expect or assume they’re nothing special.
The current State of Israel was formed by the NWO before we called it that. The UN did it.
Furthermore, the founders of Israel were not notably religious.
I won't reject out of hand that God has some purpose for the modern state of Israel, but that is not the same as building some elaborate narrative and claiming the Bible says so.
The Bible does not clearly say anything either way about the modern state of Israel as such.
