We’re witnessing the undoing of 2,000 years of Jewish rejection and animosity towards Jesus, a miracle by any estimation
More than 25 prominent rabbis from Israel and abroad issued a statement calling for a renewed look at Jesus, Christians and the New Testament faith.
Quoting from their own sages, these outstanding Orthodox rabbis are not ashamed to exalt the name of Jesus, welcoming the carpenter from Nazareth back into the Jewish fold.

I was studying Hebrew for three years in a local synagogue and started studying Torah with then on shabbos despite being a Christian. At times I brought up interesting facts on Abraham and Isaac, Joseph...unique views of Jesus, without saying His name...three years hinting and expounding on Messiah in the Torah and one day, one morning and woman gave me the ultimatum,”No one likes you here. You are not welcome here.”
The rabbi wanted to know who said it...wanted to get names. I stated there are hostile Jews who are blinded by their own scriptures about Messiah.
I would point out that it is rabbinical Judaism.
After Jesus rose to heaven, there were multiple jewish 2nd temple sects
1. Sadduccees, took only the 5 books of moses and the prophets and rejected the oral Torah (the basis of the Talmud)
2. Pharisees who took the Oral Torah with its detailed Sabbath rules (the written basically just says keep the Sabbath holy)
3. Samaritans who rejected the prophets and kept their own version of the written pentateuch
4. Essenes
5. Jesus movement Jews
6.. zealots
Afte3 the destruction of the temple, only the Jesus movement Jews had a “way out”.
Namely they pointed out that Jesus had prophesied the destruction of the temple in his Olivet discourse, that it was the fulfillment of Daniel’s vision and the 70 weeks had come to an end with Jesus triumphant. And that it was exactly as John’s vision in the book of Revelation spoke of. That book was written in 64 AD.
The Pharisees reinvented themselves without the temple or priests, replacing them with synagogues and rabbis. This was done at the council of Jamnia in 70 AD by Rabbi Yohannan bin Zakkai. This was the start of rabbinical Judaism, or what we simply call Judaism now.
So strangely enough, Judaism of today is actually about 40 years younger than christianity.
The Talmud was finished only in the 8th century and had influenced on and was influenced by Islamic writers creating the Quran, Hadiths and Sirah in the 8th and 9th centuries
Bfl
Daniel 11 and 12 were written during the Babylonian exile.
It was before the desecration that causes desolation, which was Antiochus Epiphanus setting up a statue to Greek gods in the temple in 200 BC
That led to the revolt of the Maccabees, read the book of Maccabees. That is commemorated annually by Jews as Hanukkah.
The renewal was of the temple created by Herod and ti which Jesus prophesied in the Olivet discourse, would be destroyed in the lifetime of his listeners.
That destruction happened within the cursed generation m the generation of the olive tree
Revelation is a book with allusions. With candles that speak, with a tongue like a double edged sword, with locusts with heads of men.
It is not a literal book. The entire world by that means clearly the Judaeo Roman world.
The two messengers namely the law and the prophets are killed in Jerusalem.
Nit the Jerusalem we know now, which is Aelio Capitolina, but the Jerusalem which was burned to the ground in 69 AD. Just as Jesus prophesied in the Olivet discourse
You are certainly entitled to your opinions on Bible Prophecy.
Please remember not to ping me regarding such on the Religion Forum.
That being said, Have a Merry and a Blessed Christmas.
No, I was not, but it is encouraging as it is an indication that Jesus’ return is soon.
Great news.
Thank you for your information. I have been studying the Hebrew roots of our Faith for the last 30 years. I have found such wonderful prophecies given and fulfilled in the old testament with the final Ezkiel 37:15 yet for the future final event. We are nearing that time of David’s fallen tent, Acts 15 being raised where all Israel, all 12 tribes will come in to worship and praise YHVH. There is such a depth of teaching that the church doesn’t recognize or honor. My people perish for lack of knowledge is so true. May they come into awareness in 2023.
Galatians 3:29 If ye be in Christ Jesus you are Abraham’s seed. Says it all.
And wait until these rabbis and others start taking a deep dive into the Book of Isaiah. It is jam-packed with references to Yeshua.
If this little fire spreads, it will become wonderful conflagration!
As an aside, looks like we are living in the End Times (at last).
He claimed to be God incarnate…..
That was consider blasphemous. He was gathering a followers. That was considered dangerous
What wonderful news to wake up to, brother! Praying for the Jewish people to open their spiritual eyes and behold their Messiah—Jesus, the Lamb of God and Lion of Judah!

Glory to God!
Well this sounds serious.
Yet Paul tells us 9n Romans that the partial hardening of the Jews will only last until the time of the gentiles has come in. Many interpret this as indicating the time when the Jews will accept Jesus and bring forth the second coming.
And now you know
—> is the Jewish religion practiced today really any different than the other fake ones? If they are not worshiping the God that sent Jesus - are they really worshiping the true God?
There are many believing Jews worshipping under the revelation of God in the unconditional Abrahamic covenant. As such they are believing in the real God who revealed Himself to them.
Unfortunately, a temporary time of blindness has fallen on them.
It will eventually be lifted.
There are the majority of Jews who are involved in liberal congregations.
Great Post, thank you.
