We’re witnessing the undoing of 2,000 years of Jewish rejection and animosity towards Jesus, a miracle by any estimation
More than 25 prominent rabbis from Israel and abroad issued a statement calling for a renewed look at Jesus, Christians and the New Testament faith.
Quoting from their own sages, these outstanding Orthodox rabbis are not ashamed to exalt the name of Jesus, welcoming the carpenter from Nazareth back into the Jewish fold.

I think you nailed it.

Take LB2: TF for what it is - a movie
Relevant Scriptures would include Matthew 24, Luke 17, Mark 13, Daniel 8:23-25, Daniel 9:26-27, Revelation chapters 11, 13, 14, 20:4, Zechariah 12, 13, 2nd Thessalonians 2:4. Just a quick list off the top of my head.
Yes, it is happening, I’m one. The Messianic Movement is growing, and the remnant are coming home to YESHUA more and more every day, PTL!
And yes, I meant my interpretation as speculative, not definitive.
Well, the 20th century changed all that. 1917, 1948, 1967 - even their ability to hold on in 1956 and 1973. And really starting in 1948 they were attacked as well.
Ezekiel 38 is coming up. Keep an eye on Iran, Libya, the Sudan and IMHO, Turkey.
I think I’ve been seeing their ads on YouTube
Oh and Revelation chapter 12 where the woman is protected from the Serpent - IMHO this is the Remnant of the Jews in Petra. FWIW
The beginning of the Conversion of the Jews. A sign that Our Lord is coming soon. Maranatha!
[They will, but after the scales have been removed from their eyes.]
There was a cool part in “The Moment After” where this happened to one particular rabbi.
I’m pretty sure it was in the first one. Rich Christiano directing.
You didn't mention being aware of it, so here is a link to Hugh's Paradoxes in Scripture class, now well into its fifth decade.
There is nothing that says the next temple has to be where the Dome of the rock is now. The Temple could be built somewhat adjacent to to dome, perhaps on the outside of the wailing wall with the wall buttressing it’s rear. A group of rabbinical students made that point in 2003 which caused a bit of a stink at the time.(The stink being that their arguments were sound in the Torah sense but the politics of it would have set the world on fire.) The Bible says it would be rebuilt in Jerusalaem and there wouild be ongoing sacrifices that the beast puts a stop to. There is no command stipulation that the temple be builtwhere it had stood before.
It has ever been thus.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.
Absolutely
Jesus is Lord!
Maranatha!
And while the Jews are God's chosen people IMHO, is the Jewish religion practiced today really any different than the other fake ones? If they are not worshiping the God that sent Jesus - are they really worshiping the true God?
My wife would get mad at me for the above statement - and perhaps she is right.
Right God (Romans 9, 10, 11) but no atonement for sins outside of the blood of Christ.
Once this Church Age is over, it’s a whole new ballgame.
They’ll be thinking everything is good - first 3-1/2 years of ‘Peace and Security’ - then the big surprise comes.
Even Jared Kushner got in on this. Sadly.
Thank you for your informative and humble post. I am mostly an old-earth creationist and have heard about the term “day” having multiple meanings. Our lead pastor (old-earth) mentioned how another pastor at our church is young-earth. “Well - it could be. Adam was created as a grown man, and to look at him you would say he was 25 years old or whatever. God could have created Earth already “grown” as well and it would appear to be 3.5 billion years old.” (I don’t recall the actual years he said, but I thought that was an interesting observation).
I appreciate your open-mindedness when explaining the things as well, and you bringing up the various thoughts and interpretations.
Fits your tagline well!
“ What is the problem Jews have with Jesus; that they had him killed and he rose three days later?”
———————
We killed him? Meaning those alive now, nearly 2,000 years later? I don’t think so.
The problem that Jews have with worshipping Jesus is that: a) we worship God, and ONLY God - to worship anyone or any thing else (including the Messiah, whenever he may come) is blasphemy because it goes against His word. Thus, even if Jesus was the Messiah, to worship him would be forbidden; and b) he wasn’t the Messiah anyway - he met NONE of the requirements, not just as to his heritage, but also because he didn’t accomplish any of the deeds that the Messiah is supposed to do. Where was the ingathering of the exiles? Where was world peace? Where was the immediate and universal recognition of the Gid of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as the one and only God of Creation? He’s batting 0.000 - and don’t tell me about do-overs, because that’s a complete cop-out.
Take a look at this short video, and you’ll understand why the Jews don’t believe in Jesus as being special: https://youtu.be/fSDytNu73Hg
