A well-known and prominent pastor, Mike Todd, of transformation church made headlines earlier this year after he preached a sermon essentially turning tithing into a lottery where a lucky tither would win a million bucks. And prior to that, Todd made headlines in January 2022 for spitting in his hands and rubbing them into a congregant’s face as part of a “sermon” illustration.
Mike Todd has quite a following, both in his church and on social media. Yet, Todd appears to care less about the God of the Bible and more about a false god that he has created in his own image. And after making headlines a few weeks ago for preaching a sermon wearing a t-shirt with a picture of his wife wearing a bikini on it, we thought he couldn’t sink any lower.
In a recent sermon titled Cuffed To The Cuddle, Mike Todd attempts to demonstrate how cuddling with people often leads to unintended consequences. But in doing so, he graphicly demonstrated highly inappropriate content for a church audience by jumping in the bed and demonstrating intimate physical interaction with a mannequin. It was cringe, to say the least—but absolutely does not belong in a Sunday morning sermon.

This is a pastor?
aka Tickler of Ears
🤢🤦♀️🤷♂️🤷♀️🤦♂️..............................
I stood up to a pastor who did a Sunday evening social. At my mens group I was told he dress up like Doris Day, borrowed some shoes from one man’s wife. The men were all clearly stated that they did not get on stage when him when invited.
I asked the Pastor how this honored God repeatedly. He finally said “fellowship.” The women head of council asked me to leave the church.
The most amazing thing to me was not another man stood up with me....................................
Many are called, few are chosen.
I applaud you. Sadly, I’m not surprised that you stood alone - so many fake man cards issued today.
“Now the Spirit expressly states that in later times some will abandon the faith to follow deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons, influenced by the hypocrisy of liars, whose consciences are seared with a hot iron.”
—1 Timothy 4
After watching the video he’s actually making a good point about NOT sleeping around but the whole set and the images on the jumbo tron are just creepy looking. I will assume that is to add to the fact one should not sleep around because that too is creepy.
Yikes! No warning signs ever reared their heads before this? Let me guess ... Contemporary “Christian” music had become the norm there within the last few years...? That’s where it starts, I’ve noticed.
The churches have almost all been infiltrated. I guess the rise of the universal religion church was discussed at that COP27 (or whatever it was) conference in Egypt.
I remember when the biggest prop or gimmick in church was the pastor chaining a box to his ankle and walking around the stage, saying we are chained to our sins.
I didn’t watch it long enough. It’s the whole presentation that drives me up a wall with these Skinny Jeans pastors. We have many of them up here. They think they’re entertainers, standup comics, shock jocks, etc. I miss good old fashioned preachers who taught and explained and you felt enriched, and even convicted.
Anyone Not Against Us Is For Us
Luk 9:49 John said to Jesus, “Master, we saw someone using Your name to cast out demons, but we told him to stop because he isn’t in our group.”
Luk 9:50 But Jesus said, “Don’t stop him! Anyone who is not against you is for you.”
I did not watch the video for context. Personally, I prefer meat in sermons but I will have to trust some refreshing milk was served compared to worldly message.
Yikes! No warning signs ever reared their heads before this?
There are many symptoms, not just the music.
I get you with the “skinny jeans” as in I too noticed his attire. I will again assume that is geared towards young people. Us old people are not “down” with that, as these young people say.
I somehow suspect this whole sermon was geared at reaching young people and getting the message to them in a way they would understand.
The bible also says something about the next generation having different ways than their parents.
>Skinny Jeans pastors
Oh dang!
Yeah, I’d have to say I would be cautious around such.
“..The most amazing thing to me was not another man stood up with me..”
Not one bit surprising as this is the kind of stuff that many churches and congregations in America have denigrated to; no respect for God, no respect for the house of the Lord and most of all, no respect of themselves.
I left my former church when all the young women begin line-dancing to secular country music in the church at what was supposed to be a Christmas get-together. That was enough for me, and I was the only one that confronted the Pastor and several deacons over it.
I was told that they were just having “fun” and to “get over it”. I did. I got over it alright...I left and so did my tithes.
I now attend a “holiness” church that respects, honors and preaches the Word of God. It’s kinda like going to church back in the 1950s: the men wear ties, the ladies wear dresses, with high praise & worship that honors the Lord, and the Word of God is preached with an anointing.
The world thinks we’re bat-shite, old-fashion crazy. I don’t care what anyone thinks anymore (other than the Lord), but rest assured, there’s a day coming.....oh, is there ever.
I have observed over many years that the best way to 'reach' young people is to treat them like adults, with respect. Pandering to "the youth" usually ends up being ridiculous.
Satan has deeply infiltrated churches. The behaviors hint strongly that Todd is NOT A CHRISTIAN. I bet he is drawing a huge paycheck though ...
Don't know where you live, but the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod preaches the Scriptures, and promotes a Biblical but contemporary response to issues in society:
