I didn’t watch it long enough. It’s the whole presentation that drives me up a wall with these Skinny Jeans pastors. We have many of them up here. They think they’re entertainers, standup comics, shock jocks, etc. I miss good old fashioned preachers who taught and explained and you felt enriched, and even convicted.
Anyone Not Against Us Is For Us
Luk 9:49 John said to Jesus, “Master, we saw someone using Your name to cast out demons, but we told him to stop because he isn’t in our group.”
Luk 9:50 But Jesus said, “Don’t stop him! Anyone who is not against you is for you.”
I did not watch the video for context. Personally, I prefer meat in sermons but I will have to trust some refreshing milk was served compared to worldly message.
I get you with the “skinny jeans” as in I too noticed his attire. I will again assume that is geared towards young people. Us old people are not “down” with that, as these young people say.
I somehow suspect this whole sermon was geared at reaching young people and getting the message to them in a way they would understand.
The bible also says something about the next generation having different ways than their parents.

Oh dang!
Yeah, I’d have to say I would be cautious around such.
Don't know where you live, but the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod preaches the Scriptures, and promotes a Biblical but contemporary response to issues in society:
Listen to Adrian Rogers. Love Worth Finding.
May I commend SLBC.org to you? It is the church pasteroed by Andy Woods. I attend online. The media archives are a very rich source of Biblical teaching. You miss what your soul is craving. Feed it from the Word. Andy is an excellent source for doing that.
